EGS Nightwolf vs Cyrax
at the 12sec mark Cyrax launches a bomb and jumps over Nightwolf. When the bomb goes off does it damage Cyrax or is that Nightwolf's attack connecting? They both happen almost instantaneously.
Also, does the Announcer sound more menacing in this video?..

Love the people who thought that setting up the lighting like a rave party would be a good idea.

I don't think it effected Cyrax...looked like Nightwolfs attack. The announcer voice,I don't think its more or less menacing. One thing I actually realized is that in the E3 build when a fatality was performed the X-ray meter did not deplete but in this video it does before the fatality. That makes me wonder if they are doing more with this meter. I have not seen a pax build to see if it matches to either build...but from what I hear this is pretty much the pax build? I dunno...the gauge def. goes down when the fatality is performed and it did not in the build I remember seeing. Maybe I am trippin but what do you think? EDIT:The meter starts to drop when it says finish him (around 1:20 in the video posted) than it disappears. Surely I assume it goes away for a cinematic feel but I can not explain why the meter would deplete before it vanishes. It could mean nothing but it makes me wonder.

Is it just more or did the net fatality look better when the character fell apart?

You are right... I think the last I saw the net fatality it was like a clone from other ones. I think they added a split through the center.EDIT:Nope I looked at other videos from PAX and it looks the same for the most part. The camera angles look a little different but thats it.

Nothing mind blowing, though.
Nothing mind blowing, though.
Maybe I'm just noticing this for the first time, but did anyone else catch how when an opponent falls down near one of the lanterns in the Pit II stage, the fire in it flails and sort of bursts from the air being blown to it?
A small thing, but I really, really like that attention to detail.

So can you enhance your throw moves too? I know that each character has two throw moves and each one goes in a different direction, but in this video there is now a third one for Nightwolf. His one throw where he lifts them up by the throat and then does a shoulder charge was then enhanced where now he lifts them up, slices them with his knife, and then charges them. He does both versions in the video so just thought i'd point this little detail out as I thought only specials could be enhanced. Freakin sweet though

Yeah I noticed that, there might be timed commands to add damage to a throw...but then it could be exclusive to nightwolf. I wish they would release some gameplay footage of the alredy annouced characters.
