How to make Kenshi unique.

Ermac without a teleport is like Smoke without a teleport. You're not thinking about people who have played these characters for years. As long as their teleport animations are slightly different I don't care.

Well turn that staff into a katana and you pretty much have a very cool Kenshi! I can see him making such cool kicking combo's with his sword bringing mayem at the same time, he and his sword being an ultimate team.
So many great things ccould happen to Kenshi, but i'm sure they stay dreams and he keeps on being that boring Ermac-like telekinetic user, his sword being only used in a normal human way in his hands...
Uniqueness is not a feature in Mortal Kombat. There are no special snowflakes in MK. I have learned to accept this.
That said, Kenshi's telekinetic push is the greatest special move in MK history. God I love spamming that.
Kenshi: Down! Stay down! Stay down! Stay down!
Good times.

"[The two we're adding] are Kenshi, who players will recognise from previous MK games, and more excitingly we're adding Scarlet.
"Anyone who knows the history of Mortal Kombat will tell you that back in the days of the arcade - when they did just palette swap characters to come up with multiple fighters in the game - there was a glitch in one of the old arcade machines that caused the Jade/Katana/Milena female ninja to glitch and turn red.
"People always thought it was a hidden unlockable character and it wasn't, it was purely a programming glitch. They've always speculated and in fact it was the fans who named her Scarlet to begin with. She's no longer a glitch - she's an actual character, and she'll be coming pretty soon post-launch."
Scarlet. One T. I'd prefer Skarlet (also with one T), but that leaves the door open for my version.

I'm kinda curious on Scarlet, but i'm not very happy with the choise of weapons... I don't really care for throwing knives, as Kano already uses knives he throws towards you.
She would have been cooler with an force-like whip weapon, makes her also look like an evil mistress.

The spelling's not confirmed if the interview was conducted audibly and the reporter wrote what he assumed was the spelling.
Well, it's quite simple. Scarlet is a word. It means:
From Wikipedia:
Scarlet (from the Persian سآقرلآت säqirlāt) is a bright red color with a hue that is somewhat toward the orange. It is redder than vermilion. It is a pure chroma on the color wheel one-fourth of the way between red and orange. [2] Scarlet is sometimes used as the color of flame. It may also refer to the color of the blood of a living person, like crimson, although the actual color of blood (from hemoglobin) is different.
Scarlett is a proper name.
From some site I can't be arsed to look up
Scarlett \s-carle-tt, sc(ar)-lett\ as a girl's name is pronounced SCAR-let. It is of Old French origin, and the meaning of Scarlett is "red". Brought into use as a given name due to Margaret Mitchell's heroine Scarlett O'Hara in the novel "Gone With the Wind". The middle name of one of Mick Jagger's children with Jerry Hall.
Now, given MK's habit of turning words into names frequently (Scorpion, Reptile, Sub Zero, Katana, Havoc, Cobra, Protagonist) and very infrequently turning names into names (Sonya, Tanya), I'm going with Scarlet/Skarlet.
And I'm almost certain I will be proven right. But, out of compassion, I will refrain from correcting you all until I am.

Yeah I'll wait till NRS or another leak shows me what her name is.

According to CVG it's Katana and Milena. Judging by how WROOONG the spelling is I'd say razor is right the guy is writing down what he heard. But Still to the interviewer/article writer...Goddamn Bro you couldn't at least look up the name to see how the names you heard were spelled? MistaKes.
Personally I think it should be Skarlett unnecessary extra "T" and all.

I really hope he's not a clone
That was one of the reasons mk went sorta bleh, because of all the un-inspired nonsense

It seems like Ermacs abilities try to keep his opponent distanced/defensive. I think it would be cool if Kenshi's abilities brought the opponent towards him being more offensive.
RT @tymesrhymes are you guys already thinking about MK 10 yet? Noobde: I'm testing Kenshi's time travel sword slash right now....Ooops!
Sneaky.

He was blinded before MK1.
