I started thinking about this after seeing Cyrax and realizing he was very young.


The character ages we know from MK1's official manuals are:


Johnny Cage: 29
Kano: 35
Liu Kang: 24
Scorpion: 32 (at death)
Noob Saibot: 32 (at death)
Sonya Blade: 26

For the other earthrealm characters these are my estimates:

Kung Lao: 21 (The voice actor casting call states that he's younger than Liu Kang.)
Jax: 32 (a player select screen from an early build of Special Forces lists Jax as 32 and Sonya as 26.)
Sub-Zero: 29 (he has to be younger than his 32 year old brother, but not too much younger...3 years sounds like a good estimate.)
Smoke: 27-28 (roughly the same age as Kuai Lang, maybe a bit younger.)
Cyrax: 24 (Wow...I was surprised how young he looks. Sort of seems young and idealistic too...compared to)
Sektor: 34 (Sektor seems a lot older than Cyrax. More conservative, less idealistic. He also looks to be on the verge of middle age judging by his alternate.)
Kabal: 35 (he's probably roughly as old as Kano.)
Stryker: 35ish (Probably the same age as Kabal.)
