My favorite to play as is Kenshi (since DA).

My favorite story/character-wise is probably Nightwolf. I find Native Americans to be totally badass, and he's got a good personality. I also love the fact that he sacrifices himself in the story.
I also like Johnny Cage, Stryker, Quan Chi, Scorpion, Noob Saibot, Ermac, and Sektor.
*This is mostly based on the story of MK9.*

When I first played MK, Reptile was my favorite. There was no real reason for it, I just thought he was cool lol. I think it was because green is my second favorite color, after red, and since there was no red character, I picked Reptile. :)

My ALL-TIME favorite would have to be Shang Tsung! He can morph, steal souls, use magic, manipulate fire...what more do you want in a villain! Plus he's always scheming on how to remain on top, or close to it if need be. Yep, that's my boy! lol

fav character to play and for story is Kabal.

it used to be Kano, but i suck with him in online mode.

Sub-Zero 4 Life

Kung Lao: He is just so awesome. Hes a shaolin monk who is virtious and violent when he needs to be. I hope in future games they stop trating him like a sidekick and more like a hero.

Stryker: Stryker is the most down to Earth fighter. He fights with what he has. Also he wears a backwards cap. What's not to love about this guy?

Fujin: He is another god character, better than Raiden imo. I've always found Fujin interesting. He has so much potential and yet he was only in one major MK game. So sad really...

Johnny Cage: In the earlier games I didn't care for Johnny much. But it was MK9 that got me into liking Johnny Cage. Everything about him is cool. From his cockiness to his gameplay he is great. Need I say more?

Shinnok: Let me just start off by saying he had the best Fatality in MK4. Being smashed by 2 giant skeleton hands, it just doesn't get any better. He is also a fallen elder god. Which automatically makes him awesome.

My fave is definitely Sonya Blade, and has been ever since MK1 back in the arcade days.

Not too sure about her design in the latest game though, but still as far as characters and gaming go, Sonya fan for life.

Scorpion probably comes in second, with Johnny Cage, Baraka and Quan Chi all up there for me as well.

First and foremost always Scorpion for me(I know I know I hear you guys snickering like it's a sin to like Scorpion) I don't care. I liked him from day 1, and he's been my favorite ever since. And a very very close second is obviously Kitana....I have to admit I was never that into Sonya even at the beginning. I chose Scorps more than Sonya in MK1. But Kitana I loved right away...the fans won me over. For me it's not about statistical rankings, but rather loyalty to the character. The same way I've stayed loyal to Chun Li over on the Streetfighter side...she's had plenty of bad days, but I still love her. I also love Sindel(anybody that uses their hair as a deadly weapon gets a thumbs up in my book) Jade, Mileena, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kenshi and Ermac...oh and Bo Rai Cho is a favorite(wished he'd been in MK9)

Back in the day, Scorp was my number 1 man, and I used him from MK4 through to Deception. I also thought Nitara, Smoke and Shujinko were cool.

Then I replayed MK3, and got myself a copy of MKA, and from then on, Sektor was my fav ever since! I really liked his gameplay and story and could dominate local opponents very much so using him :P (Scorp is still my number 2 though!)

I also seem to have a propensity for characters that shoot fire and/or missiles (Bowser, Sektor, Samus and E-123 Omega are 4 of my fav fictional characters!)

My Favorite character since MKII, 1993 - MILEENA - evil sexy beauty, I'd marry her if I could bet she's a great kisser - on the other hand maybe not?! In the latest MK9 it's still Mileena, but I've also added Skarlet and Sub-Zero to my main characters In my opinion nothing compares to Mileenas speed and fast tag combos a hazard to all online players Second: Kitana, Shang Tsung - they are all really cool characters who have no remorse.. I just love when Kitana says "get up" when having landed her x-ray I hate Kung Lao, Quan Chi and Kano btw - hat-throwing, spam-spinning bastards....

my favorite are barraka scorpion subzero noobsaibot and now smoke because of his new look and hes not a cyborg i also like shinok not quan chi though because of wut quan chi did to them and liu kang i hate him and kitana i like millena scares me its ok to be a guy tarkatan but mellina shouldn't have been mixed with them. what was shang sung thinking.
