I would love to see Tri-Borg return — especially in story mode. He sort of missed the boat on MKX/MKXL's story mode, and he would make a great inclusion!

A character like Tri-Borg worked well in the fighting engine, given the Variation system. We'll see how well MK11's engine suits him.

I hope so too, either as Triborg or some of them separately. But yeah, I wish them and any other character (initial roster) will have something important to do in the story, for character development.

I pray Tri-borg does not return unless he becomes an original character.

I'd rather Cyrax, Sektor, and Cyber Smoke maintain their own identities. Mashing them all together was highly appalling to me.

Somehow it makes sense they move on with the Triborg as a final nod to them. However, they were a success and since they are messing with the timeline and going with all this futuristic nonsense of all the earthlings having guns, bombs and even drones, then how do they not include one of them? I don't want Triborg like others have said, I want Cyrax or Sektor. Cyber Sub can stay away and Smoke too, rather have human Smoke. I like to believe they will include one.

In my own perfect world, Triborg would appear in mk11 storymode, but would be in a state of turmoil. The 3 cyborg’s programming all battling for control inside him with one eventual winner(preferably Smoke or Sektor). That character would then be unlocked on the select screen.

Another fighter could have the complete cyber transformation, like Kano, Kabal, Jax or Hsu Hao. These specifically because they rely on some form of cybernetics already (maybe they could be upgraded like that).

Since MKX had Kano further augmenting himself with the cybernetic heart implant, I've been fond of the idea of him going more and more into that direction, extending his life through cybernetics.

They could even make the scientist who's responsible for other cyborg enhancements a secret character. His way of doing things would be different from the Lin Kuei cyber initiative though (that's why i mentioned fighters that ain't in the Lin Kuei, previously).

Considering the speculation about timelines and whatnot, I think if 11 also has MKX's character style variation stuff, Triborg could still be a single character. But also he could have some kind of classic skin that would just make the different styles into their original characters (for intro/outro stuff)

Another idea. Have Sektor (Tekunin), Cyrax (OIA) and maybe Smoke form a loose alliance to capture then detain Triborg (regardless of if they are good or bad). Triborg is a danger now he knows how to impersonate them move for move (as shown in the colours). He has data programmed in him on all cyborgs, so this makes him the new mechanical hybrid, with superior capabilities compared to the clan.

In Noobs trailer we see cyborgs cyber sub hanging and Cyrax's blade used as a weapon so might not see them on roster. hopefully either Sektor or cyber smoke make the roster. would like to see at least one cyborg make it

Due to how the variations system works in MK11.... It could work really well: You get to choose the skin (Sektor, Cyrax, Smoke, other, etc), and get to choose from all the movesets. Kinda like... build-your-own-bot.

Only thing is, what name would they go with? Tekunin? I know it's the name of the clan but think of it this way: every time your cybog is defeated / fatalitied... they stay dead and the next time you play as that character you're essentially playing as a new bot fresh out the foundry. :D

I think Frost is going to be cyborg or part cyborg in this one, after the stage shown in the noob reveal and the story clip of scorpion and sub I reckon she has gone rogue and is trying to reinvent the cyber initiative!

I like it to be Tri-borg, just because it would only take up 1 slot to get Cyrax, Sektor, ... . Maybe in Tri-borgs case, you can choose per variation what name should be displayed/said. Tri-borg works well with the variation system, it's just the name that is somewhat bothersome.

I don't think he's going to be playable, because we already pretty damn well much know who's going to be playable, but I do think it's highly likely Triborg could cameo in story mode, leading his version of the Tekunin, as per his MKX ending.

I think they're just going to be minor antagonists serving as canon fodder for a few story beats, laying the groundwork for Hanzo & Kuai Liang's buddy adventure. Much like Sektor's Tekunin served as minor antagonists for a few story beats in the Armageddon story. And Triborg may very well make an appearance as their leader... but I doubt he'll be playable (at least not on the initial disc roster)

Hopefully won't see Triborg return again. Hopefully we see Cyber-Smoke, so I don't have to suffer that haircut again.

Yeah we already paid for Triborg, so I’m guessing that’s not an option. Some seem to think that background character is Cyber Sub but I could see that being a more obscure character along the lines of MK9 Skarlet or MKX Tremor and assume it might be Hydro.

If Rain’s not in this game, and it’s looking less and less likely he will be, I could see Hydro making an appearance, and I think it’d be cool to have a brand new cyborg, especially since all three previous cyborgs were kinda technically in MKXas DLC. I think it’s time for a new cyborg.

I can get behind a new cyborg. And I'd love to see more characters with water abilities (always preferred water over ice), but I wouldn't want it to make Rain even less likely to appear.

I don't know how I feel about Frost being a cyborg- I guess it would be kind of cool if we hadn't already had Cyber-Sub Zero. Now that would just seem too redundant. ANOTHER Ice based Cyborg? She's already getting enough flack for having ice powers period.

I truly hope not.

Unless she looks really...REALLY cool and actually is vital to the story- then maybe. But I don't know...I don't like the idea of Cyborg Frost.

Cyber Rain sounds cool af gotta say, I would play that (though I always thought the idea of a character called "Cyber Noob" was a missed opportunity hehe)

I don't think Frost is a Cyborg at all the leaks combined with the story trailer make it... fairly obvious she's working for or with Kronika. Seemingly more closely than any of the other time-plucked characters, as she's all decked out in a Team Kronika uniform.

As for Cyber Rain, or Cyber Noob or Cyber Reptile... I've never understood the fanbase's obsession with Cyberizing the entire ninja catalogue. I don't need it. Least of all the ninjas who aren't even Lin Kuei. Feels gimmicky. I didn't like it with Sub-Zero, but it at least made a modicum of sense the way the story was told (in that, in the new timeline, he took that bullet instead of Smoke)... but yeah. I don't need any of the other Ninjas to become robots for the sake of staying relevant. Give them a story that hasn't been done.

As for a new Cyborg... technically we just got that from a story standpoint in Triborg. And I assume (as stated earlier) he's the one behind these new cyborgs and/or new Tekunin, but who knows. That said from a GAMEPLAY perspective, I acknowledge Triborg was in no way a new character. But story wise, he absolutely was.

That doesn't blatantly eliminate the possibility of her still being a Cyborg. Especially considering characters have various skins and looks in this game as well.

I hope not though.
