Also, I saw this probably about 13 hours after it launched and thought "I would be fucking amazed if it has over 10k signatures" and it had about 30K, over 200k now ....

Still, no way its happening. Ed boon has been having fun on twitter with it though.

Ridiculous if anyone legit wants this to happen, but I’m assuming the vast majority don’t, so whatever. No big deal. I don’t really find it all that funny, but I’m not put off by it either. Some seem to be having fun with it, including Boon, so good for them, I guess.

Well I mean... for starters, meme's weren't even a thing that existed for the first 40 years or so.
Nor was the internet a thing that existed for the first 25-30 years or so.
That probably made it less of a priority for people back then.
