Official screenshots and promo renders are usually taken at very high resolution and downscaled to improve the image quality, so I imagine it's at least 4k. I do wish it was available in a form other than a heavily compressed JPG, though. Ah, social media.
I agree with all those who say that the helmet is a bit too much going on and while I appreciate NRS's effort always in making characters look the best they can, they should know when to tone it down a bit. Though this is unlikely a base attire.
I think actually this image is showing a customised version, since there's several differences between his right and left:
- forearm (spikes vs. covered)
- upper arm (extra armour vs. uncovered)
- shin guard (two spikes at the top and a golden trim vs. two golden trims and spikes a bit lower)
My hope is that maybe we can even have him as maskless, demon face and all, which is the beginning point and then just add stuff to it. I'd bet a $1000 that the upper horns on the helmet are customised and a nod to Onaga. In case he needs to have a mask, I hope that customisation is not limited to adding things and you can take parts away or replace them at least.
Best he has looked since Trilogy easily.
