I'm probably the only one on the unpopular opinion train, but I'd really rather not have guest characters at all.

Why WB why, why polluting MK with more guest characters?

There are a lot of MK characters who deserve a spot on the select screen, but now I know for sure.......WB is only in for the money.......thank you WB for killing my favourite franchise of all time!!! NRS is in total command of WB...

I second that emotion. No more guest characters, every slot taken by a guest is a slot wasted for an MK character. WB should encourage NRS to make an entirely new IP with nothing but guest characters from various movies, comics, video games etc where they exist in their own world, it would no doubt spark interest and sell incredibly well. I personally would have no interest in it especially with comic book, horror movie and action movie characters as none of that stuff interests me, but neither does the ultra stripped down and lame DC universe as a whole, but I even enjoyed some aspects of Injustice 2 since NRS knows how to make the fighting mechanics and the overall atmosphere engaging.

The machanics are superb, nothing wrong with that.

NRS should indeed create a separate game with those kind of characters in their own world. There is even a chance I would buy it to be honoust, because I dont hate those characters. But this is MK, WB, and not a cross over game.

The one thing I think would be nice is to have another version of Mortal Kombat Armageddon with this game. With the time traveling possibilities Kronika could bring any former MK character into the game. It'd be super jam packed but it'd be cool to have ever single MK character at least make it into MK11. It'd be even funnier to have all the guest characters as well. Then we'd also finally get Jason vs Freddy again. LOL As far as any characters go the ones I'd like to see in this game are a couple that are all ready in the game plus a few from the past people are asking for and one I'd think would make a pretty interesting story arch.

Seems that there has been a bit of a shift in paradigm regarding guest characters. I remember a lot of people were hyped when Kratos was announced for MK9, or even Freddy Krueger. Maybe they have just overdone it; we do have an awful lot in MK11.

I never liked guest characters in Mortal Kombat. I'm glad they're mostly DLC, but sometimes it's unfortunately hard to avoid purchasing them since they come in packs. I'm in the cano that would prefer all-MK characters on the roster.

My picks for next Kombat pack would be:

-Ermac

-Reptile

-Cyrax

-Ashrah

-Havik

1 or 2 guest characters is ok.

And yes, Ermac, Reptile and Havik would also be my choice

Triborg was a great character. But to be honoust those 3 characters deserve a separate slot. ☮

Love me some guest characters. All for Nether Realm studios' next game to be a massive movie crossover though.

This is exactly what I would love to see with MK 11! Full MK roster from MK 1 to MK X, MK 9 tag team mode, MK Armageddon Kreate a Fighter. MK 11 could easily become the next GTA 5 or Red Dead Redemption 2 in that it can drop the '11' part and just keep going as a service based game with a-la cart additions. The fighting mechanics are second to none and even far superior to MKX and MK 9 which were the best in their respective time of release, but it's finally peaked, how can they make it any better at it's core? Just keep adding more greatness!

The only guest character I would want at this point is (hear me out) Doom Slayer. Like, it would without a doubt be the coolest thing ever. However, I'd like to have the caveat of him not being a straight up zoner, but a character who uses his guns alongside his sword and fists to do some sick looking combos. Other than that, I'd love Nitara, since she's in the new upcoming move ;). And maaaaaaybe... Onaga... pls. :'(

People who are encouraging guest is part of the problem. MK9 was a mistake and probably the most overrated MK game to date, started all of this guest bs. Having guest does nothing but bring in stupid kasuals who know nothing about MK and dilute the franchise.
