Rain is a 3D character that took a spot on the MK9 roster, when DLC was a trend . Imagine any other 3D character that had his spot in MK9 like for example Havik or Drahmin. Your going to hear Rain in people's dream like they're doing with these 2 now.

Who requested Rambo? Robocop? or even Joker since day 1? Ive been on other communities and never in my life have I heard the community ask for these characters. Terminator and spawn were highly requested in Injustice 2, so it makes sense that there appearing in this game and that should be it for the stranger trend.

Thats why WB games is worse than EA, cuz we know that these guys are broke and there going to milk this game and other titles hard, instead of being traditional to MK fanbase. So I fully believe that its based on a situation. Lets be honest, Rain twice?

MKX was a game that pointed to the future and MK11 has been f@ck3d due to the time-travel-bullshit.

DLC characters that were requested in MKX are now in MK11, 4/5 years too late...

This whole MK11 is a dissapointment...

Rain had to be on the main roster of MKX just like he had to be in the main roster of MK9 and he wasn't, despite of being in the story and that you fight him, he's an unplayabla character. In MK11 he was heavily hinted to be in the main roster, again he didn't make the main roster. He was 2nd place on a poll which Noob Saibot won. Kabal and Baraka were 3th and 4th place in that poll and they are in the main roster in MK11 and Rain not, another blow for Rain fans like me.

Than Ed Boon starts to tease and troll and that made Rain fans like me mad, but we didn't threaten NRS or WB like Mileena fans did. Despite all of that Rain and Mileena were heavily requested characters and it's normal that they finally made it in MK11.

Now there are guys like you who say that Rain and Mileena don't deserve to be in the game, that's a problem. I kinda agree with Mileena, because her fans have threaten NRS and WB, but they were in the minority. I totally disagree with Rain. Rain has a really strong fanbase, was 2nd in the poll where Noob Saibot won, he was heavily requested, already had to be in the main roster of MKX, so he did deserve to be in the main roster of MK11 not Kabal or Baraka. Yeah let's be honest, ignoring Rain twice? No, he was already ignored enough. No character should be ignored anyways.

I almost totally agree with what you said about the guest characters. We never asked for almost any of the guest characters, except for Spawn who was already highly requested in MK9. It doesn't mean that Terminator was highly requested in Injustice 2 that he needs to be in MK11. Rain and Mileena were highly requested too but for MK11. Rain and Mileena may not be in MK11 and the Terminator may be in MK11? That's not fair, because they were highly requested in MK11 and the Terminator not. If it was up to me, than Spawn would be the only guest character. It's a shame that those characters take the spot from klassik MK characters both 2d and 3d era, but I have to say that they worked really well on those guest characters and made them really good.

Yeah, pretty bummed they went with Mileena and Rain. Being a fan of neither, and not really being a fan of anybody else on the roster either...it’s definitely keeping me from trying to play this game more. I just don’t have a character I connect with on this roster as it’s currently constructed.

I know I was personally really hoping for some more 3D era characters just to see how some of these older designs could be reimagined.

I said this because the short original trailer of the Tarkatan running was so quick, but i realize now. Should've knew this because of the face paint colours which classifies his position in the horde (as in not as high as Baraka).

Like I said before in my previous comments. I don't hate rain and I completely agree that he should've been on the MK11 main roster. He had a build up to the story of MKX and also his fanbase and even Mileena. You think Rain fans are the only character fan base that got trolled on!?

Listen, Rain is a 3D character that had a shot in being in MK9. Now just imagine if example, Havik had that same opportunity to be in MK9 and Rain didn't make that game. You wouldn't be hearing nothing about him being a popular character, because the other character wouldn't had their opportunity to shine as the 1st DLC character. This is a valuable reason why they didn't deserve the spot.

Terminator was highly requested within late MKX - Injustice 2 days. The thing is I literally don't give a dam about what MK character comes in the game and im being serious. I literally don't give a shit, as long as different MK characters gets their shine as DLC and the MK community get acknowledged for investing potential, instead of the casuals and guests.. Until this day, Tremor is the best DLC character that Netherrealm has ever released. From a Jax spinoff game? Thats the shit im talking about when characters get a chance to shine! Rain and Kenshi was put on the map. We need more fresh kombatants.

I spent £80 for the premium edition of the game. £35 for the aftermath pack = £115. This is a fighting game by the way. This is not GTAV were playing. The MK community even complained about the prices on social media months back. Same stunt with injustice 2. On top of that, we have not 1 not 2......5 guest characters in this game. Like I said, WB games get a smooth pass for shit like this while EA gets shitted on.

Also, as it's not Baraka they could've given the Tarkatan a different semblance, (which they probably didn't care about) because they don't all look exactly the same.

Rain should have been on the main roster in MKX and perhaps this one too. I don’t get why they keep pushing him aside, but I’m happy he’s at least DLC again. I understand those that are frustrated with repeated characters, though.

Also, he is not 3D era.

Fingers crossed Tanya makes a cameo/is mentioned in Rain and Mileena’s endings or intros. Want to know what she’s up to (please don’t forget about her, NRS).

He also had to be on the main roster of MKX, because he was in the main story. The same story with Sektor and Cyrax, which they lied about because they said that they wouldn't do that again.

Rain and Havik were both highly requested, so of it was up to me they would be both on the main roster and not only Rain. Rain deserves his spot. I see it like this, Rain as dlc in this game makes their mistake that they made with him in MKX good, so it's only fair that he's dlc in MK11. Rain was already in the 2d era actually, maybe you forgot about that.

Tremor was indeed one of the best dlc characters. It's stupid he's not along side Kano on the main roster in MK11, because he's also a BD member.

It's good that you began about the 3d era characters. I don't get why they don't give Reiko, Havik, Sareena, Kai, Jarek, Li Mei, Drahmin and Nitara a new chance to shine. It would also be nice to see Smoke, Reptile, Ermac and all of the cyberninjas as playable characters in MK11. Even Takeda would be nice as dlc, but I'm glad that I can play back with Rain my 2nd main after Noob Saibot.

Aarr I've only played the standard Mk3 version. I forgot that rain was in the ultimate edition. That's my bad.

Super Famicom? Wasn't aware nor have i ever played it, so that's news to me. Only played MK1 and MK2 on the SNES, as a youngster (i'm more on the lore side of things).

I have never played the Super Famicom, I believe that was the Japanese version of the SNES.

Thrust me, he is on the SNES(european) version. I always say that the UMK3 version on the SNES is: UMK3 Special Edition haha. (Dont know if he is on the American version btw)

But you have to play it, it is fun. It is not as good as the Trilogy version but it plays pretty good.

Aw! I grew up with Rambo (never really got into Rocky franchise) so I appreciate him being in the game though I still think that guest characters are pointless in MK. And from what I heard it seems that mr Stallone will be voicing him as well!

Man, I'd play a full fledged Ramb game. Sneaky-sneaky, cut-throat and dissapear into the bushes kinda game. Hope town, Vietman... doesn't matter! And they better hurry up with the game because mr Stallone isn't growing any younger (though his voice is still good).

The word Ultimate seems synonymous with the number 3, in MK. 3 MK11's and 3 MK3's (which both used the name). Usually means the end of an era and maybe that's a reason to use the title once more. Wonder if they'll use the name again.
