As I’ve said before in other threads, I love the way she looks. Typically, I dislike revenant skins because I just think they look kind of stupid...but for some reason I like her’s. I have wanted to see a more ninja-esque appearance and she definitely embodies that vibe with all the revealed outfits. Definitely prefer the non-revenant versions though.

On a side note I would love a version that has her Deception alternate dual bun/pig tails hair style.

I definitely am very curious to see what her connection to Kronika is and I'm curious why Jade is still a revenant.

If I had to nitpick, I'd prefer a better mask. It reminds me of Scorpion lol.

I feel like the folks at NRS have watched too much DC comics and with the customisation in mind have stuck to some basic colours and garment options to make it easier. Understandable of course, but has me feeling a bit underwhelmed by Jade’s main look.

The yellow mask, the absence of a bright jade colour, the chest and belly area ornaments slapped on there. Not feeling that as much as her desert nomad look or the unmasked one. Still, also in those the colours don’t stick out as much. Hope we can get a nice customised look.

Overall they definitely did her justice, especially game play wise! She looks amazing to play with, has great options in both defense and offense.

I still think Jade's Deception look is the best she's ever had. But I guess it wouldn't fit the modern era of MK.

Revenant Jade looks awesome and her gameplay looks pretty sweet as well.

The “Kitana Kahn” intro with Baraka sounds really interesting too, I wonder what Its all about Maybe Kitana and Liu overthrow Kotal during the story mode and take over rule of Outworld

Jade looks great, I can’t wait to find out what she’s been up to. I like her costumes, I don’t like the brown though, I wouldn’t mind it if there wasn’t so much of it. The second costume that they showed her in is way too similar to Skarlet’s costume.

I was watching the Jade vs Sonya fight more closely, and I think she's actually in a dusky lilac and not brown in the alternate costumes. Think the lighting in the SF desert base was making it look brownish. Love her primary and really want it as a non-revenant skin, but my fave is back!

Like Rain (in MKX), I think the gold in the costume and mask is to show she was (is) Edenian.

Many fighters has some elements with gold on their clothes and i think the reason is because even the logo is in gold. It's just the main "color" in MK11.

Personally i was suprised in a positive way about Jade. Her moveset is ok (i am not that good in zoning), but i like here personality. I just hope her skin could be even brown in here revenant dress. That would be perfect for me. It's not that i think Jade would be my favorite but she gonna be way more interesting than in MK9. Even if i think her fatal blow is generic... and to be honest i don't like her fatality because almost every fighter is popping the eye out (Kabal, Sub Zero, Skarlet..). It am missing more diversity in that case. But overall i really would like to play as her and try everything.

Well.. my winner in this Kombat Kast is definitely Baraka. I am so glad he is back and the chances are high he gonna be my main. I like his moveset and the second Fatality was great. He is just badass.

It just seems unlike Jade and Rain to have gold in their kit, as Jade is usually green mainly and Rain is usually purple mainly. I know characters looks have to evolve though.

I would be surprised if you can’t unlock a human version of her revenant costume as part of the color swap customizations.

I personally feel pretty much the same way about the character coming out of the Kombat Kast as I did going in. It’s looking like her MK9 ending was just for funsies and she’s still basically gonna be Kitana’s right hand. That’s fine. Just not a fan.

I am definitely in the boat of people who want her main costume but with human skin for sure. Kabal's also. Baraka looks really fun to play. This last Kast and what they said about him in the end also has me really looking forward to Kano as well. Still holding out hope that my boy Scorpion is still salvagable as he looks great aside from the bullshit spear nerf but even though people said he was good in demo build I haven't seen any pro gameplay where he WINS.

Hayatei’s Scorpion beat Honeybee’s Baraka at the reveal. Granted it was a 1 hour meta, but, a win is a win.

I’m also a bit perplexed by Scorpion losing his free hit after spear. It’s just a strange decision considering both Sub Zero and Kabal retain their typical free hit moves. *shrug*

Other than that, this is the firs time I've been seriously impressed with her costume since MKSM. It's nice to see our females not prancing around like cheap whores out of a bad DOA game.

Yes, they are referring to her throwing weapon. Not accurate but thank the movie "Krull" for this Chakram like throwing weapon being called a Glaive instead of a real Glaive which is a type of polearm.

So it looks like all that speculation about jade escaping the netherealm, being possessed and this mysetery woman angle are all rubbish then. I wonder how (if at all) they’ll explain her absence from MKX? Maybe off assasinating Goro on a secret mission for Kitana or something?

Arcade endings haven't really meant shit to Netherrealm since at least Deadly Alliance or Deception. At this point, I would just consider them all non-canon what ifs until they're proven otherwise. Less disappointment that way.

Since MK2 to be more precise. Arcade endings have always been speculative and full of red herrings, from Raiden's total flip to being Earth's protector in MK2, to Kung Lao not dying at the end of MK3, to literally every ending where someone wins who isn't Liu Kang.

I'm happy with Jade's overall design! Her moveset looks awesome and I dig how much she's using her staff. While I'm not a huge fan of the default revenant look, knowing MK11 will have more gear pieces than Injustice 2 gives me confidence I will have no problem creating some cool looks for her.

The only concern I'm afraid I still have, is that MK11 will go the route of Injustice 2 and will cover all the females from head to toe in armor and skip on any and all sexual appeal. I understand doing that with DC characters, but I hope they don't have those same restrictions for MK11.

Agreed! That was by far my favorite look of hers EVER.

Do you really need the women to be showing a bunch of skin to identify their sex appeal? If so, the problem might just be a lack of imagination.
