What does everyone think of him?

Personally, I don't like him.

Looks kool design-wise. Strangely also giving a sort of "pirate" vibe. But interesting with his arms. His fatality looked a lot like Mileena's.
And glad the trailer showed that the stage where the 2 Scorpions where fighting in the story(?) trailer is a stage to fight in.

Interesting design. Looks like an actual MK character compared to Cetrion and Geras.

From all of the MKX and MK11 new Kharacters he is the best one by far for me. The way he uses his arms is just awesome. So many details in the animations and so great potencial gameplay wise makes him the most interested kharacter imo.

Yes, his fatality is similar to Mileena's, but it fits him perfectly. Because he is collecting some organs and the head. But there are some little complains. I don't like the speed how he rips everything out because you can't see much of it and I don't like the last punch against the torso.... just leave it like it is so we can see the mess he did.

Really like his design. But major point deduction for that blatant recycled Mileena fatality from just a game ago. Did they give up when trying to come up with something original for his fatality?

I like him. Better than I was expecting and more interesting to me than a lot of other characters on the roster.

Kinda kool how he can flow so well with all his random trinkets.

The "Mileena" fatality just has me worried it would even take out the chance of her being a dlc character. I liked Mileena's design in MKX a lot, she was perfect in that game and really want to see how she would look with these kind of graphics. To my own surprise, I really really really liked Mileena in MKX.

The Kollecktors fatal blow was a real "backstabber" :).

I approve, especially him being from Outworld and serving Shao Kahn. He has a Mum-Ra vibe to his face. His 2nd skin was great and reminded me of the deformed creature in the movie 300. Not sure he is a main contender, but I am eager to delve further into him.

Haven't they swapped fatalities around between characters before in previous games? I don't see it as an iconic Mileena-specific fatality. It's not like a Toasty or something.

He looks AWESOME. Like something out of the Malibu MK comics. I absolutely freakin' love 'em. But I'm still gonna be a Johnny Cage main. Sorry :P

Also since he is kollecting stuff... a leak mentioned he is also collecting organs. Anyone remember the MKDA Kano fatality? I thought the Kollector would have a similar one. But now they gave him an alternate version of Mileena's.

Everyone is waiting for that kharacter that blows him away. So here is mine. I just love badass mutant kharacters. I was so speechless when i saw Baraka the first time in MK2 and now I have the same feeling with Kollector. I just hope his gameplay is like Kabal or Baraka. Then I feel like I am in heaven.

I really like him, he fits right in with Outworld and the like. As @FataLKaDe said, he looks like a cool character you'd find in the old comics or something.

That being said, I'm not in love with him- he's cool but he seems like another henchmen type character in the vein of Reptile or Ferra/Torr- which is fine but I hope that's not all that his character brings.

I do wish they would have given him SIX arms...I think that would've really made him "POP"- Four arms haven't been shocking in MK since 1992.

He does technically have six arms. It's just four of them are holding his bag. XD

I need more time to develop a verdict but my initial feeling is I think I like the Kollector. Stupid name though. Really dumb. But he looks pretty weird, which is good, unique at least. Probably fun to play as, it looks like his special moves are pretty good.

Not bad but I wouldn't say I'm super impressed either. Something is missing, there's no "wow" factor about him. Cetrion is a more original new character imo. Also, I hate it when new characters "borrow" old ones' fatalities. And yes, "Kollector" sounds like a beta-name actually.

Though, after seeing the fatality they gave Erron, Kollector's doesn't seem quite so bad lol

Yeah, I like him, but he hasn't garnered a huge reaction from me like any of the other MKX/MK11 newbies have.

His gameplay also doesn't seem all that groundbreaking.

Cetrion is a new character that I could see impacting MK in a huge way- she seems like a game changer.

Kollector on the other hand seems like another cool character in a sea of cool characters but I don't see him having a lasting impact. I could be wrong.

I also didn't like the name when it first leaked, but I do at least appreciate the fact that they worked it into his lore.

During the Kombat Kast they mentioned a quirk of his race is to refer to one another not by name, but by vocation. IE. Tailor, Builder, Fighter, etc.

He is/was a horder of valuables, and also Shao Kahn's personal debt collector, hence he is: Kollector

I will however say (as I mentioned in another thread) I prefer just "Kollector" over "The Kollector" and I'm glad that's how the announcer/game seem to refer to him.

What is your opinion regarding Scorpion's UMK3 giant skeleton hand being stolen by Shinnok and becoming his entire theme?
