Secret Brutalities added to game in 6/11/19 game update

I noticed there is no sticky thread for Brutalities like there was in MKX, and I've already discovered or seen several secret Brutalities or variants that I think we should try and keep track of. So, let me start one. Break down will be below - if you encounter a secret or one you just don't know how to do, post it here and we'll try it out. Others added will be moved to the main posting as we go.

Note: I'm basing these button presses off of PS4 - sorry for any confusion. Would appreciate feedback on XBox One buttons.

@Mick_Lucifer or other mods, can we get this stickied?

VARIATIONS
These are modifications/variations to known Brutalities that can be triggered under certain conditions or button combinations.

D'Vorah

Bug Yuck - Hold L2 + FK - cause bugs to devour victim all the way down to the bone

Jade

Flawless - correction to criteria - holding "toward opponent" does not seem to work. Instead, rapidly tap toward opponent

while it still does not work all of the time, I find that it triggers roughly 7/10 times this way, as opposed to simply holding toward, which triggered MAYBE 1 in 10 attempts.

Johnny Cage

Win Pose Variation - Hold Up, R2, L2, FP & BP - Johnny Cage Doll pose changes

Liu Kang

Insert Koin - Hold Left, R2 + FK - Coin cabinet door opens to show victim's decapitated head.

Scorpion

Crispy - cause a "clean" white skeleton that falls apart instead of burning and crumbling- method of doing this currently unknown - performed by accident several times

May be combo related - each time this Brutality variation occurred, the Brutality was triggered during a combo that began before "Finish Him" and continued after

Sub-Zero

Off With Your Head - Press L2+R2 after victory pose - Axe disappears and head falls to ground

Dancing On The Ceiling - Press Down + FK any time after impalement - victim slides off spikes

Win Pose Variations - hold any direction to change pose of ice clone immediately after performing Brutality.

Polar Bear - hold left + 1 + 3
Snowman - hold right + 2 + 4

SECRETS

Secret Brutalities have been added to the game as of 6/11/2019 per NRS!

As of yet, I have encountered no Secret Brutalities.

STAGE

Special Forces Desert Command - Throw Animal Skull in center of arena at standing opponent from at least half-screen distance

There has to be more folks. Let's find 'em.

Probably everyone already knows this but, holding the d-pad up or down after any sub zero brutalities changes the pose of the ice clone, holding left +1+3 has him create an ice bear, holding right+2+4 to make a snowman

Updating this thread to now include Brutalities with inputs/conditions that are otherwise incorrectly described in the game.

Liu Kang's "Insert Koin" brutality:

After the arcade drops and crushes opponent, hold LEFT, R2 & X (on PS4) to see an alternate ending: money drawer of the arcade opens up and shows the decapitated head of the opponent.

Johnny Cage's brutality pose:

After any brutality as Johnny Cage is manipulating his action figure hold UP, R2, L2, SQUARE & TRIANGLE (PS4) to see an alternate pose: action figure shows middle fingers

This is one of Jade's easiest fatalities in my opinion. Are you holding the Throw button while you're holding Toward? That's how I initiate the fatality, it works 100% of the time on my end.

I'm using the PS4.

D'Vorah's "Bug yuck" brutality:

If you hold L2 & X (PS4) right after you do this brutality, the opponent will be devoured by the swarm into a skeleton instead of "just" a skinned corpse.

@aquasage - yes, but still find that rapid tapping works best. Could be user error on my end but I have heard the same from other folks as well.

SECRET BRUTALITIES HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE GAME AS OF 6/11/2019

According to the patch notes for 6/11/19 by NRS, there are new hidden Brutalities in the game for players to discover. Let's get to it folks!

Does anyone already has some of the new brutalities which were added by the last patch and know where to get them (Krypt, Towers)? It seems that Skarlet has two new brutalities added.

Alternate win poses have just been discovered for the new DLC character Shang Tsung.

Right after any brutality, quickly hold R2 + L2 (PS4) + a particular direction and Shang Tsung, instead of transforming into the opponent as in his usual win pose, will morph into:

Rain, if the direction is UP

Ermac, if the direction is RIGHT

Smoke, if the direction is LEFT

Noob Saibot, if the direction is DOWN

yea you just gotta win 5 games per day for 10 days. Thats the final challenge i need to beat all the challenges which then awards the scorpion skin i want. Its gate locked by 3 more days minimum. Im 1 rank away from the final Skin in the league, the erron black one.

What the hell? I can deal with skins and accessories being locked away by various methods, but to lock away my characters finishers is insulting. I dont play the towers or time because I cant stand the AI going by our button presses. I just enjoy a little online battle and a classic tower every now and then. Just BOUGHT Shang Tsung but I have 2 brutalities until I freaking unlock the rest of em'? Did I mention I paid for him LoL

Yes but have completed several of his towers and still only have the 2 brutalities ;( my point was dont lock the finishers away gear and skins no problem but not finishing moves. I dont like TOT and have no choice but to play them fo get my stuff.

Alternate brutality ending for Cassie Cage's 'Get yo ass beat':

Once you've done the brutality, hold L2 & R2 + down + X (PS4): Cassie will punch the opponent's face as usual until she pulls her gun out and shoots him.

What do you exactly mean? They appeared already right from the start. If you are lucky enough you can purchase them in the daily store. But I want a complete list for every brutality to purchase the missing ones with crystals or koins. Because I can't get Kung Lao's brutality which is only available if you play online. And that sucks!

yep, they were there right from the start, for 750 Time Crystals each.

with those Online only Brutalities, Victories, Skins, Gear, i dont like playing online, i suck in it, but for 10 days in the first Session of Kombat League, i played every day 5 sets, i lose most of the time, but get all those daily awards at the end, and some skins and some gear. next Session will do the same, even i dont like it and dont want to do it :)
