Takahashi Takeda is back! The official gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1's next downloadable character is here -- and the whip cracking warrior is in fine form as he enters the fray against a new era of kombatants. Take a closer look at the final fighter coming to the first Kombat Pack:
Exactly how and why the son of Kenshi factors in to an era that hasn't progressed to his generation yet remains to be seen, but being born is the last thing on anybody's mind when he's busy getting the opposition dead! MK1's Takeda hasn't missed a beat, getting back in to the swing of things with an arsenal of razor-tipped ranged attacks and more!
Takeda will be available in early access starting July 23rd for Premium Kombat Pack players, with a playable demo also available for hands-on experience at the upcoming Evo World Championship. Kameo Fighter Ferra will also make her debut after being delayed for quality control reasons.
Takeda & Ferra close out the first MK1 Kombat Pack cycle of downloadable content, but the developer will unveil plans for more characters and story content during the More Kombat MK1 Year 2 panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.
