I was skeptical reading the title but after seeing the trailer it does look like she does a great job so I'm sold.

I like the throwback reference to Mortal Kombat Conquest where Kung Lao asks what she did with Jen's body? In that series Jen was Kung Lao's love interest. It also may be a double reference too.....possibly also to Jennifer's Body?

Her reply in her voice she almost sounds like the actress that played Jola in the series. Jola was turned into the Black Dragon by Shang Tsung in an episode.

What's the point of Megan Fox voicing her when her ingame face looks nothing like Megan? They race-swapped her into Asian just like most of the characters...

Ya sorry she was just awful. Especially in this scene with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi whose voice actors are freaking amazing. She sounds like a wooden plank next to them. Next time NRS please use a real voice actor and forget celebrities ????

The point is to hype fans just by casting a hollywood actress, same reason they casted another celebrities before. And to why her face is not the same, probably because it would cost A LOT more, would bring license problems, like not able to continue selling the game, and if people doesn't like the performance, I doubt having the face scanned would do a lot better.

I don't like her new design, but I don't see how is she asian, Li Mei, Sindel? sure. But Nitara doesn't seem asian.

Technically you may be correct, but if we are talking about that, why they talk the same language? Or have same cultural patterns, like monarchy? Wouldn't surprise me if NRS makes Edenians some kind of ancestors of the asian race.

What it is "technically" is totally irrelevant because we are talking about freakin MK and not about linear algebra. All that matters are the looks and the devs know that very well and they turned almost all the white looking characters into Asians. I have no problem with Li Mei because she looked Asian from the start in MKDA.
Actually, Li Mei's design in MK12 is great. However, Nitara definitely didn't look Asian.

It doesn't have to be Megan Fox, there are plenty of noname hot white models for hire, so money is not an excuse and I doubt that money was the problem at first place. They didn't use Megan's face because of the woke agenda.
