The Ghostface killer of the popular Scream franchise is stalking the fighters of Mortal Kombat 1, but who's behind the Munch-inspired mask? The latest gameplay trailers give us vital klues that suggest the killer -- or killers -- may be somebody we already know. Watch:

As in many of the feature films that inspired the latest downloadable content krossover -- the Ghostface killer isn't working alone! A simple dial of a cellular tags in another knife wielding maniac, but there's more to this killer than a series of stabs!

A jumping backflip kick, a cannonball dive, a sparking projectile -- it looks like some of the klassic kombatants who haven't made the main playable roster might be taking their revenge across the timestream! Ghostface can also feel their animality, turning in to a vulture, and pull back the curtain for a violent fatality that pulls back the curtain and shatters the fourth-wall!
