Mortal Kombat X may be the hotly anticipated tenth installment of the klassic video game series - but it's also currently the name of a top selling serial from DC Comics!

The comic book story bridges the gap between 2011 reboot Mortal Kombat and April home console release: Mortal Kombat X. Steering this sprawling saga through panels and page is writer Shawn Kittelsen.

First an Edenian needs to discover the orb that binds Edenia to Outworld. That alone would be an interesting arc to see.

Oh, come on. No orbs! That was childish writing for Nitara and Cyrax when they did Deadly Alliance.

Shao Kahn was de-atomized. Edenia is definitely free. It was free in MK4 when Kahn was only weakened.

Will the comics have any mention of Shujinko and his quest? Wouldn't he have already obtained some of the Kamidogu or did something happen to him due to the events of the new timeline?
