This. I haven't so excited for something MK in a long long time.

I think why Sektor's helmet design is mentioned in the first episode..

it's sort of a one design fits all approach, which makes sense..

MK9 differentiated to make them unique

I haven't seen the episode yet, need to run to work....but that trailer was so fucking badass, damn!

My only problem so far is that they switched up Baraka from the rebirth trailer. Everything else is good though.

Both Scorpion and Sub-Zero look awesome, I could not ask for a better ''realistic'' MK Ninja look.

I'm guessing Baraka is the ''Jeepers Creepers" looking guy? Rebirth was a good concept look for him. That pic we got a few weeks back that showed another concept (close up of his mouth and blade if I remember correctly) looked promising, but this? Doesn't really seem like Baraka does it?

Ian Anthony Dale is of Japanese, French and English descent. He may not be 100% Japanese but he's close enough.

Were the two ninja's in black, fighting in the air hanger suppose to be Noob Saibot?

Was that rat looking thing with the green vest Reptile or Baraka? Was Baraka the one with white hair lifting that dude up??

Not sure if I'm really feelin the character designs here. Pretty weak in my opinion. I like the idea behind Scorpions look, but the actual thing is a lot worse than how he looked in the games. All the ninja costumes left something to be desired, they all looked extremely home made. A blue jersey over grey sweats is Sub Zero? Noob Saibot is two guys in black sweats with like bicycle knee and elbow pads? Baraka is a troll? I know its a low budget web series, but I've seen much better looking cosplay MK characters.

I still like it and plan to watch it obsessively, but the trailer didn't at all blow me away like I hoped it would.

Maybe the ninjas in black are Sektor and Cyrax pre-automation.

Could be. This is an iteration where the people in it actually think pragmatically. Like bringing guns to a fight instead of chi thankfully. So far the Sonya-Jax-Kano angle is promising. In it's own context that is.


Sub-zero wearing white is a solid A in my book. Scoprion perhaps took out the yellow as a sign of being personal. For the cyborgs? Well, I think your color scheme is already a moot point when you weight 350+ kbs. and packing firepower of a small NAVY unit when it comes to stealth.

Hell, we need more white Sub-Zero artwork.


Is it me, or doe Scorpion have black eyes and white cornea without pupils in the shot when he reels Subs in for the uppercut?

Fairly certain those are human Sektor and Cyrax.

I thought his eyes actually glowed yellow right before he uppercut punched Sub-Zero.

Can't wait for the episode featuring Kitana, Sindel, Mileena, and Kahn. Oh, anyone notice the woman in the rather royal like garbs carrying in her arms what seems to be a swaddled baby? I'm guessing that would be a younger Sindel holding an infant Kitana? We'll know for sure soon enough.

Pretty sure that was Scorpions wife Kana (odd that a grown woman would have a baby name: Kana. Kanna would be a more suitable choice). If you are referring to the kimono garbed woman.

There's another woman who is not Scorpion's wife, almost certainly Sindel.

I also wondering if the two little boys shown in the trailer are Bi-Han and Kuai Liang.

Cannot remembe her. Perhaps if you could tell me at what time she is shown I could rewatch it.

I'm old school to the MAX, so the white in Sub-Zero's costume really threw me off. At first I hated it, but now...
lets just say I'm willing to let it grow on me.
