Not only does it mention her and Karl Urban but you all left out where they mentioned possible RETURNING cast members, of note Josh Lawson aka Kano, (strangely the article did not mention Lewis Tan) not to mention you ignored the return of the team of producers (including James Wan). If you're gonna report on rumors, don't cherry-pick which rumor you want to cover, especially since The Hollywood Reporter is one of two most reliable sources for films (the other being Variety). Not to mention you're fueling the racism feuds by mentioning Jade's "chameleon" race swaps across the various games (they're going back to Annihilation with this casting).

I am, sadly, becoming more excited for this MKII film and less excited for the 2023 Mortal Kombat 1 video game - assuming the Amazon Italy "leaks" / previous rumors are actually true.

Uh... you good? Maybe I read something different, but I dont see hate in this article. The weirdest thing is the "racially ambiuguous depiction of Jade" part, but no hate i can see. Also, in the social media era, there's no reliable sources.

Both Variety and Hollywood Reporter were around way before social media. They are trusted and respected in the entertainment industry.

I actually like this choice. At first I had my reservations too but if you look at her modeling photos there are a few where she has long black hair and a couple where the same hair is tied up in a bun and her eyes alone make me like the casting choice. Karly Urban I am not happy with being cast as Cage. He looks nothing like Cage, but Karl Urban does have a similar resemblance to the MKX Kuai Liang Sub-Zero in the photos where he has the beard, so cast Karl Urban as the younger Sub-Zero,
