nobody i was just taking a guess since we know hanzo only person that has a son that get mention in the lore plus i would think they not mention scorpion real name in the movie however it is mention there was a scorpion before hanzo who was his father forbade his son from joining the clan, as he did not wish for his son to live the life of an assassin.

Pretty sure there were other sons in the MK universe. Goro is the son of a King.

Hint 3: Don't expect this film to explore each character's lore. That was MK Legacy 1's job. MK Legacy 2? What a fucking joke, this movie takes its place.

Very slow weekend. Some of the cast (Joe Taslim, Chin Hang, and Max Huang) were seen lunching together while Raiden was in Comic-Con Tokyo and was photographed alongside Chris Hemsworth.

Tara and Elissa were seen together.

Beyond that, very slow weekend and almost nothing worth archiving.

As we prepare for Week 11, I want to discuss the source of the recent character leaks. Unfortunately they were first posted to the SA Prime Minister's twitter feed and still remain. They are originally background photos that appear to reveal more unannounced characters in the film. I won't spoil them here, you'll have to read back to find them, but those characters do definitely appear in the 11/18 draft and to be honest I'm not expecting too many deviations from that draft since the film went into pre-production just a few months later. There is room for one or two cameos by other unannounced characters to satisfy the fanbase...

The MAJOR deviation we have seen is that the MMA fight cage revealed the first day.

As for the rumor that the unpopular lead character was scrapped and Kung Lao was the lead, that was a very bad rumor and none of that was true. The person who told me jumped to conclusions before fact-checking in the 11/18 draft and when Kung Lao was announced on production day did not update their own information until much later.

Onward to Week 12. I'm not expecting a lot of leaks as we near the finish line here and they become more focused on getting it done right, especially the last parts as most of it has been filmed in order (although I have caught a couple things out of order).

I honestly don't know. With the controversy surrounding Thanksgiving and the fact they are in Australia and most of the cast aren't even America, they may very well say Fuck It and film anyway.

Week 11:

Joe Taslim's family is visiting, Max's brother is going home.

Joe Taslim was seen hanging out with lesbian couple Marni & Mikayla and Max and I think Chin, I didn't archive it.

We don't know exactly where they are at at the moment.

Tara (Mileena's stuntdouble) has released a lengthy training video as a post. This weekend she hung out alot with Elissa, the actress playing Nitara.

As it has been noted, like and unlike the first movie, many of the unannounced and/or supporting characters are actually being played by stuntpeople and not actors. That kind of hints you can expect a lot of martial arts action, not so much about character development, more fighting than lore with these guys.

In the first movie, many of the supporting and background fighters were all stuntpeople or just martial artists brought in to back up the hype "we have real martial artists in this movie" despite most of 1995's main cast were not before the film.

Hilarious to note, this Sonya Blade, played by Jessica Namee, has a noticable trainer, Ella, in her training videos. Although Dana Hee has denied she doubled for Bridgette Wilson, she was seen in many of the BTS documentaries for the first film and did do stunts for Talisa Soto before coming back as Mileena in Annihilation.

The more I look at Tara the more she would make a good Kitana in future role I don’t if she has any acting roles or not

Week 11:

Todd Gardner just released a literal "behind the scenes" photo of an unknown set.

Another cast member revealed in Kung Lao's instagram post.. no idea who he is playing, but there's an Aussie newcomer having birthday meal with Raiden and Shang Tsung

His name is Leo Santangelo. I've seen them dine with lots of people who aren't officially announced : a lesbian couple, two dudes last week Taslim called "ninjaz" (I'm guessing he meant homies)

Week 11:

For those not in the know, Raiden/ Shang Tsung share the same birthdays and have been seen celebrating with Joe Taslim, Lewis Tan, and Max Huang.

We get a shout-out for a grip crew from Mehcad Brooks.

Difference is he is an actor with no links to any of them before now who was spotted on the set when the Premier did the walkthrough with EA Bennet a few months ago. The others are people who they are friends with - who the actors have shown and talked about in their posts.

He was in the film in 2017 called Smashed whose casting agency was the same one as this reboot.

Cool to know. Do you have a photo or screenshot where was seen during that tour? That sounds like it was the week production began.

Week 11: Happy Thanksgiving

As you may be aware, I posed the question whether the cast and crew would celebrate the American holiday, Thanksgiving, in a foreign country, Australia, with many of its main cast members being non-Americans (Sonya, Kano, Sub-Zero, Raiden, etc) and lo and behold, they did. Lewis Tan and Joe Taslim are the two biggest posters for this especially for videos.

Ludi lin was spotted with Raiden/Shang birthday dinner.

Tara Macken (stuntsdouble for Mileena) played the District 17 girl tribute in the first Hunger Games film. She was very briefly seen.

Mehcad Brooks is posting from Columbia.

Mikayla/Marni may not actually be lovers as previous thought.
