MK Comic - would you buy it?

Apologies if this has been asked recently....

More and more games are getting their own comics to go along with the releases these days and personally I cant think of one more suited to it than MK games. The game IMO has pretty much the most diverse bunch of characters, everyone of em looks like they were pulled out of a comic and the gory style would translate over perfect.

It could be a great way to flesh out the storyline and maybe even allow us to see more from the evil sides perspective. Although I would personally prefer them to create an independant storyline that has no relation to the games.

Anyone else like to see something like this?

i did it back in the 90's wouldnt hesistate to do it again

p.s. never buy any of them from the 90's everr....

they were all horrible. but when i was a kid i was like OMFG this is the shiittt!

goro had a series, a kitana and mileena special. yeah.... still got them

get em all on a torrent or something

hahaha Mk underwear.. But hell yea I'd buy a comic!! Someone should twitter Ed Boon like crazy! They should be down since they'll make more money, and I know us as fans would be down since the idea sounds badass.

I'm actually interested in the Kitana and Mileena special comic, since I'm a fan of Mileena. :D

I would definately not buy them. The MK storyline isn't exactly why you'd buy the game, let alone a comic book series.

Underwear is a different story. Though I want mine to say "Gonna get caged" on the front.

I still hav most of the comics from the 90s and the one from MKD and MK vs. DC. And yeah if they'd make new ones I'd buy them.

Way too fat,but still rage-inspiring.

Ontopic: if there was actually a canon and,most importantly,MK novel or a comic book series,I'd personally preorder half the fucking shipment just to encourage them to write more.

Sure, but I'd prefer it if it was in the, as they say "graphic novel" format, rather than an on running comic that you have to keep up to date with, and has a billion and one continuities.

Probably. Depends on the creative team. Though, MK is owned by WB now... and Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely are currently working for DC... do we dare imagine?

The 90's ones were really bad, but they're still a nice piece of nostalgia. I'd probably buy new ones.

I agree. Graphic Novels are cooler to have. I own tons of Batman Graphic Novels. But the Graphic novels consist of the comics released as loose comics before.
I would really like the 90's MK comics as Graphic Novels. I know the chance is small cuz they're old but they recently released the old 90's Jurassic Park comics as a graphic novel. So I'm hoping DC get's the chance to release the older MK comics as graphic novels as well.
