Nope, scorpion used his powers because he's got them, they are in his arsenal, pick-up weapons aren't. If he had used his shadow kick, that would have been ok...

I think we all know Johnny is far better than scorpion. Even with all his powers scorpion dies every five minute and he got killed in the first place. Plus his outfit is made of PVC, unlike johnnys swanky little number consisting of nice shoes, and that cool green shirt, not to mention the shades, and if scorpion is such a "true warrior" who never runs, how come he ran off with kitana in the sequel? Personally i don't blame him that would have been, like, eight times he's died, no wonder he did a runner. I could go on all night but I will leave with a final thought, Johnny cage ey? What a great guy!

First off Queve you are the man or woman I don't really know, me and you have the same opinion's on Cage. And I agree with you JohnnyC.

And how the fuck is using a shield to protect yourself from fire flying at you wussy??? That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard EVER. If fire was flying at you, you know you'd grab something like that, or shit your pants and burn to death.

Bla bla bla, Johnny Cage also died, so whats the problem?? Raiden broiught him back after he died in the first tournament.

Even in MKDA there was something that cage said what sounded like "i was getting tired of beeing killed" (or something).

And for the smart people amung us, you can avoid the fire. Fire is not flying at me so i have no clue what i would do in a situation like that, i think i would run, avoid and then come back.

And Scorpion did exactly what Shao Kahn ordered him to do, kidnap kitana and bring her back, that's not running, thats doing what you are told, maybe if johnny listend better to rayden johnny would also still have been alive.

But don't get me wrong I also like Johnny, he is one of my favorite caracters and what hollywood did to the story we can bitch about for hours.

sure johnny died but if he hadn't died he would have killed Kahn, his generals, and then all the extras in the backround and the film would only have been 5 minutes long. What? Scorpion killed once by Sub-Zero, don't forget that world famous second time!

There is no second time, scorpion came back and hasn't been killed since, because SCORPION CAN"T DIE!!!! And world famous.....never mind...

Anyway. it's a movie so the story bents a little here and there, i'm sure that johnny cage would have killed everyone in outworld even Kahn, and Scorpion would help him because they are best friends...

See what i mean....I dont even see what i mean!!

Scorpion can die. He can just come back a while later.

Johnny Cage couldn't kill Kahn. Kahn is simply too much for him. He is an entity almost like rayden. Now Someone like Rayden can kill Kahn but NOT cage.

....actually, Scorpion was killed by Sub-Zero, so.... he's not the best. :P Plus he's been killed 5 times in the MK series, so..... Don't get me wrong, though, I still think he's cool as hell, but let's get real, it's hard to think of him as such a bad ass if they keep killing him like he's some sort of pussy, which he isn't.

I like this topic, it's amuzing. I liked the fights, though I think Goro should've put up more of a fight than that.....

As for Scorpion, he had the fight won, he just fucked up by thinking Cage was too beat up to fight anymore, and tryed his fatality. He made an error, and it cot him. Though I gotta say, in the movies, I don't like the ninjas that well, so it didn't bother me to see them take on smaller roles. Games on the other hand, we've just gotta have Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

And Goro... well, that was just funny. Goro didn't even touch him. So much for being undefeated. It just goes to show that brains come in handy every now and then......

oh, whoops, forgot to add this, and I don't want to edit the top message:

Hollywood did ass rape the storyline, and there is no way Cage could've killed Kahn, dude, cause Kahn was still immortal for that part of the movie.

(Oh, and the new game, MK: DA, actually states that Cage never really died in MK3, it was just in his movie based on MK3, and he was pissed because he actually kicked ass. I know, I know, they should've have changed the story, but John Vogel said at Fight Night that he didn't like the fact that Cage had died and came back like that, so he re-wrote his story.)

Speaking of which, Liu Kang would've kicked eveyone's ass, anyways, so I guess it's a bad idea to even think about it...... grin

I have to say i also love the way people are getting at each other in this arguement thing, but at the end of the day if everyone didn't die at some point you would wonder how they took there heads being ripped of and all the other fatalities, was it some kind of elaborate hoax? ok i'm just going on now so i'll shut up. I still think that johnny should get so cocky and arrogant that he becomes a bad guy though

five times? Whoever said that, do you believe every character dies who didn't become champion? Scorpion died once and that was by sub-zero.

MKM-killed by older sub,defeated in hand to hand combat in hell.
MK1-killed sub, didn't die
MK2-protects sub's sib,didn't die.
MK3/ultimate/tril-is merely roaming hell and is accidently let out, helps sub.
MK4/gold-defeats sub, finds out truth and is banished back to hell with quan chi(makes sense when compared to mkda story because if sub's ending were true quan chi would be dead)did not die.

by that count he's died once. other times he was just sent back to hell.

1.he is already dead
2.he is already in hell

u cant compare the way scorpion fought in the movie

the point is that those scorpion vs cage fight was done horribly because of the way scorpion fought

Scorpion avoided the hit (wich was clever because he could blind side cage. Johnny should have taken an example. Avoiding hits isn't a bad thing. A real true warroir would know this.

So you admid he also used a special move, good for you, but still, picking up weapons and using a special attack is not the same. The shadow kick even failed against kahn, maybe johnny should learn something new (just a thought).

And Johnny took a shit in his pants by hiding behind a shield instead of avoiding it. If scorpion can avoid a special move, why can't cage?

ultimately... we all saw, how EXACTLY it came to be, Cage beat these two. It was possible.

he is trying to say that they made movie cage too strong, cause if it was game cage fighting game scorpion, he would get his ass kicked

the movie messed up by making scorpion too weak

What i meant was that hollywood killed the real story, because Scorpion and Sub-Zero are not slaves, Raiden CAN fight and Goro would be much smarter. They let Cage win because he is a good guy and scorpion is supossed to a "Bad" guy. The movie twisted the story line, thats why cage won and not Scorpion. End of story

Now... Scorpion is the best warrior in the game (ask Ed Boon & John Tobias), they`ve messed things when they gave him a snake or something... IN ALL MK GAMES I DIDN`T SAW SCORPION WITH A SNAKE. Scorpion weapon is SPEAR!!! If he had a spear Johny would look like shish kebab. And to all who say that he runned from Johny Cage, everyone here were playing MK. What would you do if Johny Cage was attacking you with Shadow kick? Always teleport! And i don`t remember that in the games was something like Shield!!!

Im a man JohnnyCage5 , and yes, I also agree with U.

Scorpion weal in the movies??? I dont think so. Scorpion was showed to be very powerfull and dominat (same as Sub) in the movie. He was very strong. ANd for someone who said that CAGE CANT BEAT SCORPION IN THE GAMES, that is so not true.

NEVER, in the games they memtion something saying "This character CANT beat this other", any character can kill anoither. Stryker could even kill Socrpion! But People would say "No, thats imposible, Scorpion is more powetrfull", but U all say imposible just cause most of the Mk fans hate stryker (I dont hate him, but I dont like him eather).

the point is, many Mk fans focus on the characters popularity to say he CAN or he CANT beat him. I mean, who woukld think Stryker would kill the most coolest character of Mk???? ITS POSSIBLE! But many just wont acept it cuase they hate stryker.

now, dont get me wrong, I dont like Stryker, not at ALL! Its just an example.

Scorpion is the most poular character but NOT the best fighter. For Example, He can't beat every MK Person. He can beat most. But Someone like Rayden could destroy Scorpion. And I don't mean Send him to the Netherealm, Since Rayden is a God he can send Scorpion to nothingness
