i completly free hand drawn my picture not copying and or tracing involed

i completly free hand painted my picture with photoshop.

if you read my comments i gave fathom credit of course, cuz i used them as ideas sometimes.

i do have a degree in graphic desgin. i'm not some 12yr old punk. (not saying you are)

Hang on now Zombie, I still think it's a great job but when you say Fathom inspired your work it sounds like they gave you a concept or a little story to work with. Not that you took their whole drawing, left it nearly the same and made some improvements to it. I understand that you redid the whole thing yourself by hand but really you didn't. You had an entire drawing to go by therefore making the process much much easier.

It's not such a big deal when people copy something from Tobias because everybody here knows who he is and knows his work. This on the other hand is sorta under the table.

Ah whatever, we're just arguing symantics now. Yes, I do still think it's a great piece but not quite as great as before. I would really just like to see something original from you that was totally your own.

but you still need to have the talen to draw it and by free-hand, and also be able to color it on your own,

Not really, yeah you do need to be able to hold the pencil but most of the work is done for you already. Now if it was a photo that would be different, converting from a photo to a sketch is a little trickier. Not much though, like I said most of the hard stuff is done already. First the idea, then the pose, position, foreshortening, perpsective. All that's left is a few modifications.

I will give you the coloring is very nice. Not so much the character but the water for sure. But, did you see the full color version on the fathom web site, gorgeous.

Isn't it ironic that so many of Zombie's artworks have suddenly risen from the dead? Please don't revive so many old threads at once, even though I know it's OK accoding to the "rules". It makes my eyes bleed. You're a child and probably still pubeless so I'll just ask you nicely to please cease this manic thread revival rampage.

Anyway, it's an ok pic. I've seen better from Zombie anyway.
