i like the concept, many times have midway try this and fail, this is near perfect, would love a little blood spray from his neck though

Thanks for the comments. Maybe one night I can throw some blood from the neck. I also have two other versions that show different levels of blood on the screen. Even though it is probably the least realistic I liked this version with more blood on the screen.

At first I was like damn what the hell?! Then read the description like..."Ooooooooooh i get it"

took me a while to get what was going on as well, but it's really well executed. The wounds on his head are a particularly nice touch. But have a look at the very top of his head (his hair, all the way on the right of the fake) it looks like some of it was uninentionally cut off. Easy thing to fix though.

The blur on Ermac's mace doesn't sense - he was swinging it, presumably, in a round anti-clockwise direction but the blur makes it look like it's flying straight back. A nitpick; otherwise it's a good fake and I hope to see more of your stuff here.

wow, I have never noticed the hair part. Ermacs timing is off but maybe he could be coming back around to smack his neck area down. Good eyes. Thanks for commenting.

Saw this on today's featured art so I had to bump it. This awesome fake still holds up. The idea and execution here is amazing.
