I like it alot...there really isn't much to say so 4.5/5 dragons.
Wow, now this is pretty nice! It's interesting how you still have the mask over the skull, most of the time the skull is left to stand on its own. I like this look though, the mask seems to have been designed very nicely. The texture of it is great. The details to the skulls are cool as well, not too many cracks, and not too little.
My favorite part has to be his chest. Most Scorpion renders have Scorpion with this clean, perfect looking chest that I personally don't think fits him very well at all. But the way you have opened up the chest cavity is wonderful, it seems alot more appropriate. I like the way he looks 'torn', and the cloth that hangs all the way down his body looks extremely nice. The markings on it are wonderful as well, and again the texture is quite good. The addition of the ripped fibers was nice, a very good touch.
The arms designs look very nice, I like the 'web' looking texture you used. You used it again on the side of his hip as well, it's well placed both times. The spear is beautiful, you obviously went with one of the first actual renders of Scorpion, holding his spear as such. I always liked that idea pretty well. The lighting effects on it looks great as well. Legs are good for the most part, but that 'belt buckle' looking item seems sort of out of place to me. Just a bit too brown, stands out from the rest of the image.
The only other real overall problem I had with this was that overall Scorpion just seems too thin. He needs a bit more muscle in my view. But other than that its excellent work. May have been a long time in the making, but it looks well worth it to me.

well this is diffrent, he does look to thin, especially in the bicept area. but other than that this looks good, i like the mask design, but it looks odd on the skull, probobly because im so used to seeing it with out it lol, the only other thing i can see is that the unifrom is gold and yellow, it should probobly just be one or the other in my opinion. Other than that this looks good.

Ok... I'd have to say that when I saw it, it really caught my eye... At first glance I like it, but... As I look at the detail it looks more like you used some pre-existing model for the body and just "painted" his clothes on... It's cool and all but... Who's art is that for the body? If it's yours, I would recommend blending it a bit more so that the fact doesn't stand out so much. If it's not, then I would cite the original artist. Overall you did a great job.

I see where your getting about him looking thin, on the second version I have corrected most of these mistakes. The reason It stands out is the cg and the painting don't mix and blend perfectly , thats my falt because I forgot to do the color change after flattening it into one image.
The base person was rendered and done by me in a cg program all the clothing done in Photoshop, the second version is almost finished but im having trouble producing satisfying fire effects.

Well, I think this is excellent.
It's not often you see some modelling around (though you will as soon as I lear some ).
This is excellent, he is very well proportioned, and you have incorporated some very good ideas.
While I think he looks a bit more of an older person wearing draping clothes, it's an interesting concept for Scorpion, and a good one at that.
I think having the mask over the skull is an excellent idea, though I must ask, the rip in his chest, did you get that from Shadowman or something?
Lol, anyway, great work .

So if I understand correctly you created the model and then painted over it in Photoshop. Interesting. I've never seen that tried before but it does create an interesting effect. I guess I don't need to tell you that would make it impossible to animate.
Well his thinness has already been mentioned. Really the problem is just a clash of different mediums. The clothing would look better on a drawing and the model would look better with proper lighting and textures.
As for the design it's a good angle but I really hope they don't go this road with Scorpion. Evertually he'd just end up a skeleton.
I like it
