The shadow effects are great and I love the blue color hue to make it feel like its midnight and Kitana looks great in it

Very nice artwork, but I don't like that you chose that outfit.

Well I'm glad you chose that outfit. I particularly like the loose bangs though, never thought the bun looked good except in Shaolin Monks where she had the loose bangs, but with 'em it really fits her and looks sexy. I like it better than the ponytail down to her knees from DA or poofy Sindel hair from 9, for sure.

Also, the fans are spectacular. I think they're my favorite part of the pic. The MKDA versions were the only ones I've ever liked and you nailed 'em, even the pattern looks right. How did you do that? Did you eyeball the ones in the game and draw it from scratch or have some sort of source for the pattern to cut and paste from?

Thanks for the comments guys! The reason I chose this costume is because it's one of the few Kitana costumes I actually like. This and her two Deadly Alliance costumes are probably the only Kitana costumes I like. I hate her MK9 designs so I doubt I'll ever draw either of them unless I was doing an MK9 group shot. So I opted for this one because of the few I like, it's the most instantly recognisable.



I was never particularly fond of Kitana's MK2/UMK3 fans or her MKG fans. The ones in MK9 are probably the ugliest by far in my opinion but I really loved how they looked in DA/A/DCU. Fortunately someone extracted her fans from DCU and I was able to get a really good close look at them and the pattern, though I think I ballsed it up on her left fan, but hopefully it's not too noticeable.

I really like this! Kitana looks amazing in this costume. Definitely worth 5/5.

Fantastic Keith, absolutely wonderful. There are just so many great things about this work (most of which have been mentioned already) but I especially love how everything has a bluish tint to it, it really adds so much more depth to the scene. Her pose is great as well, very dynamic. The only complaint I have are the gigan-tits, but that's not so much a problem with your artwork as it is a problem with MK. Thumbs up!
