I like the sprite idea for the new character, but it was a poorly put together. The fatality idea is kinda cool. The stage looks like you threw props together, which is what you did... I don't like it.

I give it a 2.

Yeah, ShadowThinner's design idea is good, but you should've tried harder.
Yes, I dont like the backround o' props either, and you should've used MK3 noob saibots instead of MKII ones for the shadows. These look too... damn, they're friggin huge.
Though, nice job with the shadow 'trail'.

Well, I personally hate the stage, really I do, I can't stand looking at it and I'm not too sure why, maybe it's the HUGE floor, but either way, I really don't like that. Sorry
But still:
The sprite - the sprite is pretty nice, the only thing I could see that might be wrong with it (not too sure), is the band that goes around his front. It looks like it's not positioned correctly, is it supposed to be on his shoulder? It looks like it's falling off. But still, nice job with it.
The "Shadows" - simple to do of course, but work well, it looks like they're really giving him hell. The fact that they're MK2 does work well because the Jax sprite is MK2 as well (of course you had to use an UMK3 sprite for "Shadowthinner", because I guess you needed the pose).
The blood - nice job with this, it's not too excessive and it's definately visible. Good job with this.

I personally think the background really brings the fake down, but still, a pretty good job. I would give a2.5 (but like I say, I'm usually way off with ratings *shrugs*).

PS: two of the noob saibots are from MK2, the others are from UMK3

I think your doing your backgrounds to big maybe you should get a background and try more editing. As for the fake you should try more expecially the sprites you could tell you drew it. Im not being a jerk off Im just saying things that are my opinion.

Well... I do like the sprite idea. The fatality I like as well, I actually like the mix of shadows. It makes it look as if they are seperate entities, differing in proportions and such. But, like others have said, the background is the only real problem that sticks out, really. If you plan to redesign the arena, you should put it together with more harmony. That floor and the walls, they seem to clash to me. And the size may be a problem as well. On a good bg, this would be great in my opinion. I'll still give this 3 1/2.
