Even though I'm very confused at what the hell Kitana is doing, I still like it. 4/5.

Lol Kitana is running/ leaping into battle.

I admit Kitana's pose isn't that great, but the costumes are what I personally was focussing on. I took her pose from an old MK Comic thing.....It looks good in context with the others around her lol but not on it's own I guess lol.

Kitana's swimsuit type costumes are getting a bit tired. She's royality, and I thought a dress would be a bit more fitting. Her main colour would be that from MK:DA, with dark blue patterns. Her boots would be another darker tone of blue with black also.

Nitara has the pose from her MK:DA render, and I decided really to go for simplicity with her costume. The jacket was taken from idea in her MK:DA primary as were her boots. For the colours, I'd use brown and the cream colour from her MK:DA alt.

Sareena's a fave of mine, but her look wasn;t all that great. She would have a winey-red and black colour scheme. I also made the eye design for Sareena less bold, as I think her MK:TE eye makeup was a bit overpowering.

Good stuff. You should study up on human anatomy a bit more. It would only help your drawings. Some of the proportions are off, but it is a solid effort. Costumes are cool.

I think those drawing look good. I like Sareena's hair a lot. I think she would look great with long hair. I don't really like it short, but I think long would look good. I like her outfit. It looks good too. I think if you add more details it would look better. It still looks good though. I think Nitara's outfit looks good though, although it doesn't look like it changed much from the one in MKDA, it still looks good. Maybe with some more details it would look better. It still looks good though. Kitana's outfit look good too. I think is nice to finally see her in other than a swim suit. I think those things in the back that are hanging look good too. I like them. Her hair looks good too. I didn't like her ponytail in MKDA. It was waaay too long. I like her hair in this drawing. Her skirt reminds me of the one like the one Tanya has in MKD. Which is why I like it. Anyway, they all look good. Good job.

This is very true. Its my main problem when drawing, thats why I tend to stick to poses seen already or take poses from other pics etc like the Kitana and Nitara ones. I think Sareena looks ok and so does Kitana, but Nitara's legs are too short lol.
I actually did do anatomy at uni, but its one thing knowing it all, and another drawing it. But thanks for the tip and comments- that goes to everyone who has posted.

Good stuff. I admit, Kitana's pose made me giggle a bit. From first impression, she looked like she was about to get freaky with the chicken dance. I especially like the values you used in this. 4/5

As already pointed out, the anatomy could use work, but the real purpose of the drawing is the costume design so that's what I'll comment on.

I like Sareena's design. Simple and actually fairly elegant looking. Sexy, but not really slutty.
My only problem with it is there doesn't seem to be anything that makes it Sareena's. It may be because it's not colored in, but IMO it seems like an outfit any character could wear. I'd like to see something that makes it just Sareena's.

Nitara looks good. I don't know if it was intentional, but the belt seems to resemble a spider-like design. Don't know why, but I like that.

Kitana's design is unique looking and it does make her more regal or princess looking.
Only things I would change is make it sleeveless and add more blacks. Don't know why, but the sleeves don't work for me.

Awesome job Kev!!! I love the texture, the shadows and the composition on each character. Even though, i know it could use a little bit more work but i know youll get better . Anyway, i like Kitana the most. Keep it up buddy. 5/5 on all of them.

Hmmm this is true. That's something I'll need to take into consideration. Her MK:TE and indeed her MKM:SZ outfit, had the marks form the Brotherhood of Shadow on it. I tried to move away from this, since in MK:D Konquest she was shunned and outcast from them, and is now seems to be with the Lin Kuei. I did however keep the tatoo and eye make up, as well as the design on her boots. I'll need to think how to make it her own.

I think I might attempt to colour these.....and sort out Nitara's abnormal anatomy lol.

I agree, I don't think Sareena should wear the Brotherhood symbol anymore since she abandoned the clan; but I think you understand what I mean.
Me for example, whenever I draw Sareena costumes I go hardcore with the goth theme; belts, buckles, fishnets, etc.
Not saying that's what you should do, but just an example.

BTW, I always thought of the marks on Sareena's face as tattoos, as well.
