issues 1-7 ARE on the pavilion, but apparently since i mentioned it they wont be anymore
Jironobou ... Not sure where you got this idea from? Not to worry, everything will still be on the Pavilion (past + future issues). I enjoy this series.
sorry if i offended you, but it seemed that since i said that you stopped commenting/giving Feedback on the series...

Kung Lao/Smoke main. Maker of puns and bad jokes.
Episode 15
P.S. I've been experimenting with my text formats lately(using ]{ombat's tutorial) and the first three bubbles were made in a different way than the last three, and I would like to know which format is better...
The steps were
1st three:Type text copy the text(print screen), paste it back in(as an image), shrink it, copy again(I think this is pretty much ]{ombat's way according to the tut)
Last three:Type text, shrink it(w/o copy/paste)), copy image(With print screen)
NOTE:I have WordPerfect, not Word, so that might be why.

One thing I have an issue with however, is the hand drawn waterfall in the last panel:

This would look so much better with a sprite waterfall, for example, one from Mario 2 or Mario 3 (SNES or GBA versions):

By the way where did that bridge come from? Looks like Donkey Kong Country.

Yeah, I couldn't find any better sprites of a wooden bridge(although I guess I didn't look very far).
And the waterfall was a recolored version of the one from the Simpsons arcade game...I think

Actually, the bridge looks phenomenal, and integrates seamlessly with the MK sprites.

Okay, I'm seeing that now. However, that as a background does not blend too well with the MK sprites, not the way the DKC bridge does. The Simpsons is more on par with 8-bit graphics, and does not merge too well with graphics from higher quality games like DKC and MK.
Beyond that, I'm just looking forward to part 18!

EDIT:That was a lie: Episode 18

So you implemented on the waterfall, very good, and thanks for the credit on that as well!
BTW - Never realized before that you had a webpage, somehow missed it, so from now on, on the Kombat Pavilion when I post your comics, there will be a link to your site on Freewebs. I've already added this link to all your past comics, too.
Keep it up!

When placing characters in the background, proportion and depth are really key in order to make a pieces of the strip work. For example, the last strip you posted had characters in Kahn's Throne Room that were the same size but placed almost in front of the throne itself. It would look a LOT better if Reptile and Kahn were closer to the screen. I'm not saying blow the sprites up a fuckton, but move the sprites down a little bit and it makes those scenes easier to take seriously.
Anyway, I gather this is a serious comic, but some of the characters are rather out of character. Comic relief is rad and everything but it kills the mood that your comic tries to project when the comic relief is the opposite of what they'd do, follow me?
That said, you have shown improvement from the first strip to the last and the comic isn't a total eyesore, but some things need fixing. Fix those and it'll go from mediocre to decent. Best of luck.

Here's something to mull around the noggin:

Thanks, I'll try it for some later Episodes, but now, Episode 20

I liked the episode 19, but I'd say use this BG instead:

I ripped that from MKProject 4.1, whoever created that throne with no Kahn in it did a great job. Using that BG would make it a lot easier to take seriously all those scenes with Shao Kahn in it, since he'd be appearing only once.
thanks...alot.
btw, I have an odd question, a few days after I uploaded the first two episodes(first four in the new format), A version of kahn's arena showed up without Kahn, which makes me wonder, was it uploaded because of my comic, or if I had waited a few days to unveil it would I have had access to a better background and Reiko wouldn't have to be in the comic(he was never intended to be there in the start)?

UMK3 Kahn's Cave (without Kahn) I uploaded because I just discovered it when playing MUGEN... but I may have partially been inspired to rip it because of your series.

Kung Lao/Smoke main. Maker of puns and bad jokes.
I think MKII Kahn's Arena (without Kahn) had been uploaded forever, way before you started this series.
Not really, I started Shaolin Munks December 31, 2008, but the Kahn-less arena was shown until February 11, 2009 with the warehousekeeping update(on MKW), I know because that was the only reason Reiko was introduced.
