I like it 4.5/5. They look pretty nice both of them i like the way you placed some vapor around sub-zero's hands.

Your sprite work is awesome. They look great.

If you're not good with custom BGs, why not use a standard one from the Warehouse?

Meh, you can't fix a fake with some edits on the characters, look at the background, there's a building on a bridge...The Shadow Priest must be extremely big, since they are halve the size of the house. The clouds and the moon are just horrible, they don't fit at all with the background, you could have atleast pallet swap to the same colour as the background. If you havn't had such a cool sub-zero and scorpion, then this fake would suck.

Those "houses" are towers so the guards are well proportionet to them, and the moon and clouds are made to focus upon the fight, see how the ray coming from the moon shines on sub-zero?

That house is supposed to be towers? Not making much sense there man. And the clouds and sun do not fit in...I know the ray from the moon is shining on them, but they don't fit with the background, the purplish background....
