Final Round! FIGHT!

Hmm. I'd've though this match would be a ranking thing like we did for the preliminaries, where we vote for all three in descending order and add up the scores. In that case my vote would be Kruor for first, Casilde for second, and Ekimaru for third.

Since it's more like a presidential three-way though: Kruor. Sorry Ross Perot, better luck next time.

I'm gonna go with Kruor.

Wow it's finally come. I'm disappointed at my loss still! But I vote for Kruor.

And I don't mean to offend anyone because these three are all great characters but I'm very surprised at the voting. I don't feel as if the best of the best made it to the top three. I've seen great characters(atleast IMO) get beaten by the lesser. Hell wasn't Kruor in the prelims? Didn't he get topped by 3 or 4 other characters. I think what the problem really is is that the voters got bored and some didn't care after their fighter was defeated. Oops I'm dragging everyone down.

Well, at least one of my favorites made it to the final, which makes this vote much easier than if Kuwinda or Merrick had've made it through.

Well it is finally here. Congratulations to all three of you. You don't make it this far without some serious talent. Now on to the final vote

Kruor- I said from the start that Kruor could very well end up winning the whole thing. And from the looks of things that's a very strong possibility. I think Kruor is an absolute beast and is just flat out original and creative.

Ekimaru- Ekimaru was one of the first entries that I read, and since then I have been cheering for this little matchstick. His story grabbed me and I've voted for him every round so far.

Calside- She is a very strong characters with a wicked design. The only drawback I see with her is that she shares many similarities with Nitara. However she could prove to be the dark horse in this race.

Final Match- Kruor

All three were great but Kruor is the most original and inspired of the group in my opinion.

Once again congratulations to all three of you. This final match is gonna be a good one.

First off I want to congratulate my opponent for the hardest match in kak contest history , you were a freaking awesome rival. I think the phrase ashes to ashes , dust to dust is appropriate

Secondly, Wow I am a finalist I have been dreaming for this moment since the days of Mortal Kombat Armageddon (I will show you the history of Ekimaru since the begging in the main thread) And I know my chances for 1st prize are dim but WOW the opportunity to compete where the prize is a character render right from jax007 is AMAZING. He is the sole purpouse I started drawing,since I saw his Mk characters doodle I was so deeply impressed and I tried to push myself with each comming year to be atleast 1/1000 of what his abbilities are!( You can check it out in the main thread after I finish scanning and uploading the images ;d!)

BOOOO!! No Yaray in the finals? lol not bashing Casilde but Yaray was the dude. And not taking anything away from these three, but I dont think the strongest characters made it to the finals. I think there were much more original entries, but ehh thats how it is.

For me it came down to originality here, and Kruor takes it by far. The other two characters were decent, but Kruor is really the only one I think that deserved to get this far. Ekimaru's art is amazing tho, with all that being said. This tourney was great fun, cant wait for the next

Voting in descending order isn't quite what I had in mind I guess; to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd I was simply going for the popular vote.

Suddenly, Neuros pops in to the award ceremony, wearing Johnny Cage's suit and tie, with a few new red stains.

"The creator wanted me to read this......"

He pulls a note from his breast pocket.

"Congrats to all the final contestants! All were extremly creative as well as a key fit into the MK9 universe!"

He then blinks next to the three finalist, and hands them bouquets of....organs.

He then sweep kicks Casilde, gut checks Kkimaru, and then leaps and head butts Kruor three times in a row. He then lands, and cartwheels away, screaming "NEUROS....OUT!"

Veldaxx018 runs after him. "Sorry! Sorry! He means well.....in his own weird way...but I still think all the finalist were awesome. I look forward to next year...NEUROS! NOOO! Babalities are not for eating!" and he runs off after him.

I'm surprised none of my potencial winners got to the finals. It's not that I don't like these charachters, because they are all really great, but there were some i thought were better.

I hope we'll see another tournament in the future!
