Personally, the people who are losing and now refusing to vote (I won't name names, but you know who you are) are really bringing down the spirit of the game. I mean if you want to complain about how the contest is ran (judge/community wise) that's one thing, but if you are voting when your character is still in and now suddenly you aren't, that's poor sportsmanship.

I know I'm not gonna be one of those poor sports.

If you win I know I'll keep voting. I'd probably vote for Marek the whole way through. If I'm gonna lose I'd rather lose to the champ.

I just don't want people to forget the lull between Contest 5 and Contest 6 existed because I felt no one cared and no one was interested. I honestly had no intentions of reviving the contest until a number of people requested I do so, and if I feel as if no one cares again I won't be as forthcoming to run another contest so quickly as it's a lot of extra work on me.

Also, apologies to anyone requesting edits on their characters. I'm on a new computer and I don't have all my files handy at the moment.

1. EDIT: Ekimaru. I originally voted for Aurore, but after looking at my rankings again, while Ekimaru and Aurore received the same overall score, Ekimaru received higher scores in the more important categories. This one was hard though.
2. Akari. I don't care too much for either character, but Akari fits much better than Krusty.

Not edits per se, just typos and the like.

While a big part of the problem, the loss of votes from eliminated creators is not the only obstacle the contest is facing. I think a community run post-mortem might help to find those areas where things can improve and keep people interested.

I know there are about 10 of us, maybe 15 that will stay to the bitter end but unfortunately it's not enough. We should be looking to court those that haven't entered the contest to keep the spirit of the tournament alive. Again, this is something that could be discussed in the mortem.

I'm torn between Akari and Krustacean too much. Krustacean on the principal that he's a favorite of mine and Akari because everything is fairly well done and the ending validates certain other characters as well.

Barring a miracle, this day's winners look obvious to me, lol.
