Nothing goofy about your style. Every artist has their own style, that's what sets them all apart. There isn't anything wrong with your style, it looks pretty good to me.

Anyhow, even though the character isn't large, you still gave him some many small details. I like how his mouth his covered, very reminiscent of a couple of characters I can think of, very cool. He sort of look as if he is losing his hair a bit, but that could be just me. It seems to be pretty proportional given the size. He's also colored fairly well, but I don't particularly like his weapon this time. Seems to 'plain' for a vampire, in my opinion.

The BG is again very cool as well. You pulled of the 3D effect quite nicely, and I can tell you worked hard on this one as well. I like the whole theme of the background as well, well thought out. A nice background always adds something to a character. Good job.

It's all nice and good, but I just dont quite see how a dwarf vampire would fit into MK.

You're right. It wouldn't fit... but what the hell, It sounded like a good idea at the time.

Once again, wonderfully amazing background, but as for the character...it's a bit less that mediocre. I'm sorry, but I just would really like to see what you could pull off if you put your full focus on the scenery. Your backgrounds are, well, freaking amazing! I'm am so in awe at the detail and the depth and the perspective that you put into your backgrounds. If you insist on working on the charcters, that's fine, it's your drawing/talent, but, if you don't mind, I would love to see more of your background concepts. 4.5/5
