Wow!!!
I really like this picture, along side with the Rayden one its your best. You did an excellent job with his face, his hair looks like in the comics, thats actually a good thing, different from what we are used to.
The pants look a bit like a dress, maybe they are too black, but other then that the pic is perfect. Excellent detail with his body!

I think it's pretty good. I don't really have any negatives about it so I'm giving this a 5/5.

LOL, not to sound...well, weird, but Johnny Cage is actually one of the few Mk male characters that look "handsome" or "attractive". He is the typical "pretty boy", not ugly at all imo.

This is pretty good, but I think some things could look better.
(Things to fix)
His hips are too narrow.
We should be able to see more of the side or butt from this angle.
To make him look more like a pretty boy, take away the amount of lines on his face. Just draw little hints here and there (The shadow spots), or use feint / delicate shading with gray scale or color.
The more lines you put on his face, the older he looks.
That's why female faces are very simple.
So... just erase the lines that run along the side of his mouth
Lessen the shadow from his cheek bones, and square his jaw just a little bit more. Give him more of a model's jaw.
(Hard lines tend to look like wrinkles.)
(You don't always need to draw the nose bridge) Especially for a front view like this.

Good job bleed!
Though I must say this Johnny Cage looked very good, I thought your work on the Kano face was needed, but this Johnny Cage was just fine, maybe just the nose bridge and the lines that make him old, but other then that he looked great.
BTW, the big glasses I assume are from the comic books. This Johnny Cage looks a lot like the one in the original comic and that one had big glasses like the ones he gave him, they look fine imo.

Now that I look at his MK2 select screen pic. He does have big glasses.
They just looked a little odd to me on this drawing.

Bleed, thanks for your advise, but all in all you revamping my art is an insult, I was trying to go for a certain look on both Kano and Johnny Cage and I achieved it. I have my style as well you do yours. I'm far from an amateur, and I respect your critiques, but you have to recognize that everyone has different styles and visions. Do not touch up any more of my art without my permission, to do so infringes on my copywrite as to wherre my illustrations have been signed. Copy?

I've had people rework my art before, and it's a good thing, nothing to be insulted about.
If someone can help and show you something rather than tell you, it tends to help more.
There is always room for improvement for any artist.
Saying that you are far from an amateur when you have several issues to work on makes you seem a bit arrogant.
I also have issues in my art, like any other artist.
You aren't an amateur, but you still have a lot to learn, and so do I.
So, just loosen up and appreciate when people try to go the extra mile to help rather than be offended by it.
It's all for the better...
I'll remove the edits though because it was not my intent to offend you.
My apologies

I said I don't mind his critiquing and his advise, but I don't like when someone edits my art and so on without my permission to do so.

Not a problem, I apologise myself if I came off a bit brash. We can move on from this and enjoy the postings.

It's good to finally see someone's rendition of a character as they _actually_ looked back in the day, instead of all this revisionist crap the MK team at Midway seems to revel in so much these days.
However, I mostly agree with what everyone else above said. 3/5
