LOL Yeah I hear that about feeling lazy.. plenty of times I just wanna stay home without hittin the gym. But I found that if I go by myself, I can complete my workout in half the time. Although some exercises are hard because I don't have a spotter. DOH!

Not to flame, but I urge you to remember this. Digital Grisaille is the best Grisaille, in my opinion, and I haven't even experimented with it that much.
I also want you to remember this so that your shading talent can shine through into the digital stage. If while digitizing a drawing you can preserve something as valuable as the good shading skills you must inherently have, then you should go for it. Trust me, If I had your amount of talent and experience, then I would take every measure I could...
If you want to experiment in Photoshop more, however, then you should scan an unshaded drawing into Photoshop, expand it into whatever color mode is the same as 16 million colors in Paint Shop Pro, shade the drawing in Photoshop using only black, white, and grey, color the result to your liking on another layer and switch that layer to Color when you're satisfied. I just thought that whole process up whilst typing, so forgive me if it's a little rusty.
If you do decide shade, scan, then color, then please let me know by another drawing thread or Inbox whehter or not it worked out for you. Then, when I get at least 1/4th as good as you, I can decide if Digital Grisaille is the best route.
Ironic: I can give out advice, but I'm not half as good myself at drawing as the people I'm giving it to....

That is also a good way to do it. I have to try both.
