Sweet stuff man! A cute idea done in a very distinctive style.

My only suggestion would be to possibly add a discrete strand or two of blood/tissue streaming down from Baraka's head. You have a nice area of negative space there which would accommodate the tiny bit of gore nicely. It might accentuate the scene without compromising the somewhat comedic feel of the piece.

Very impressive, and also, in some strange way, kind of cute. I really like your style, great detail.

It's light hearted and gory at the same time. Nice and clean, good lines, good color. But like Aculeus said, it's missing more of the red stuff. I'd also would've liked to have seen a spinal column hanging from the bottom of Baraka's head.

Thanks all! Wasn't sure how well comedy would play in a world as humourless as MK. I've been spending a lot of time drawing faces and thought I would apply it to an artwork and viola.

kingjolly - Most of my art is the ladies and Baraka because most of my figure drawing in the last year has been ladies. I'm working on male musculature now, so as I get further along with it, expect appearances by the lesser half.

Aculeus - Thanks! I wanted to leave out the gore so that the negative space would make the composition unbalanced, and hence, hilarious. I was hoping I could get away with it, but an awful lot of people have noticed it's lacking...

you should really work on Kitana's body,she looks waaaaaay to skinny,plus it looks like you can see her ribcage or sumthin,make her a little more fatter,other than that i give this piece a 3.5/5

It has pitty, defeat and death, curiousity, antagonizm.....it's....still poetry.

It truely explains "The Kiss of Death".....

But also true of the peice is the gore is missing. I couldn't "taste" the blood because there was none.

The costumes seem to be a little plain. You have alot of color that just seems to take up space what I love about that though is it doesnt take away from the detail of the characters. You are skilled I especially like what yo did with barakas teeth.

Man, that's awesome! The colors seem to flow with each other perfectly, the facial expressions have such incredible detail, and the overall design is incredible! It adds a bit of humor to without losing the violence either, a perfect combination and balance! Definetely a 5/5.
