Kitana Concepts

Future attires for Kitana I drew. One of left would be her primary; more of a traditional ninja attire. One on right would be her alt; more regal, princess-like.

The good:
-less revealing
-kind of fiting for actual proportions of the body, and I like that you left the
shoulders free.
The bad:
-I fail to see how is her primary and alt is ninjaesque or regal. She doesn't
resemble a noichi or kunoichi at all.
-they are built from almost the same clothing element
-may be interesting, but loeaving your shoulders unprotected is the big-
gest mistakes in a fight.
IMO it's a nice touch for Kitana, so it's a 3/5

Thanks for the feedback.
Lot of people seem to like the second outfit better. (not the only site I posted this pic on)
I wasn't trying to make her look like a noichi or kunoichi. By "traditional ninja" I meant bathing suit (MK traditional).
And by regal I meant....more dress-like.

Whoa, those are very nice. I like them both. The more I look at this drawing the more I love it. Her face and hair look really nice, and they both use different shades of blue which is cool. Nice touches of red too. My only complaint is that the bottom of her shoes on her first design, they shouldnt look like hiking boots, it doesn't look right on her. Just make them plain or pointed or something. Great work..

The second is better, fits her more. The first one is a design seen too much in video games, methinks.

Both of them are really awesome.
That first one though, I know I've seen a similar desgin before, only from a different angle. It was on a topic about Kitana acting as Onaga's body gaurd. I really can't decide which one I like more. I think that the boots for the first one look a bit too military-esque. It would be beter if they formed to the bottom of the feet without really having a defined sole. But over all, I like these very much.

I made that too a while back and posted it here.
I can see why the combat boots don't really fit. It didn't really look right having it just be flat and I didn't want her wearing high heels in that outfit.

Both are really good XiahouDun.
I prefer the second costume more than the first.
I dont know why, but the first doesnt really seem Kitana-ish too me. The second however, perhaps because there's more detail in this one, does seem to be something Kitana would wear.

Yeah that's the one. As for the the "flat" statement, they wouldn't be flat if they followed the instep of her foot, it would give it some defenition.

Well I'LL BE DAMNED! It's nice to see a different costume on Kitana for a change, both ways.

Sexy but not slutty, it's perfect for Kitana. 5/5 for both.
Glad to see the sluttiness taken out here.
4/5 - for the first one. Only problem i have is the pants, it makes her look too modern and not very "asian princessy" so to speak
5/5 - for the second one. very nice design, keeps some traditional aspects from kitana's older costumes but does add something new to it. In both drawings her hair rocks. keep it up

I love the concepts! The first one is my favourite but I still love the second one. AS for my opinion on the MK girls being 'whorish' I completely disagree. Their costumes fit them well. Leotards, as most characters were are designed for movement and flexability and suit the them fine. Also the problem with fighters wearing armour is that they come to relying on it. Also on a more realistic note, the characters have to actually look good. Anyway, your concepts are awesome! 5/5
