I'm loving this idea. Jax with a darker metal.

His head looks too big and his arms too short, but I love the fact that he looks like the actor who was Jax in MK2-3. And yes, the black metal arms definately looks alot better than his shiny, polished metal ones.

Excellent design. A more physical, grappler Jax, like he was in MKII.

The blackened metal would also fit for stealth ops. Some ninja weapons you can buy are black metal, for the stealthy ninja on the prowl.

I like this look alot. Very impressive work K1LLKANO. The black metal arms look very beasty. The mustache needs a comeback in 2011. :)

This is the truest design to Jax's character I've seen in a long time (And that's including from the MK team. His MK:DA - A era designs were terrible.). I'm glad to see the return of the mustache, and I think the black metal arms with the green American flag look better than any in-game form we've seen so far.

This is the best design for Jax I've ever seen. I would be ecstatic if they used this design for MK9.

nice i like the more oldschool feel and nice work on the arms, something about the design looks more effective then the typical silver ones. i wouldnt wanna get on jax's bad side :o

Wow, the Jax in MK(2011) looks a lot like this. Good work, giving the MK team stuff to steal.

If you're gonna steal, you might as well steal from the best. The black arms and return to the army man look was the best thing the MK team ever did for Jax.

MK9 Jax is wearing the plain olive vsDCU pants, his arms are gray, and his face looks kinda like Mike Tyson.

This drawing has black arms, camo pants, and the face looks like original Jax actor John Parrish.

Nothing's been stolen. The similarities are all just things that every version of Jax has regardless of who draws it.
That said, the art itself is quite nice and I'd love to see more, K1LLKANO.

Not a big fan of Jax, although I'd have to say you sold me with this. I too like the idea of black metal versus his current and past versions.

Yeah I know it's boring but users were spamming K1LLKANO's Jax in the MK9 forum going on and on about how NRS is ripping him off and the game's Jax looks just like his, when it doesn't really. I was just doing what I can to make them cut it out cuz it had gotten a little excessive.

The only person whose spamming right now is you, because you're derailing his thread for the sake of this trivial thing. It was brought up on the MK9 forum a few times and not even every one was accusing NRS of stealing, just noting the similarities.

I'll never understand why people around here turn such things into a crusade. Do KK and everyone else a favour, if you have anything more to say about it, take it PMs.

As for your Sonya/Kabal pic, KK, maybe call it something like "Nowhere to run now"

Out of respect to K1LLKANO, I deliberately avoided naming any names or saying anything inflammatory in my posts. I was simply responding to Kamionero, there was no reason to jump on my back about it.

Fedegita was the first to get personal and accusatory. I had asked him in PM to edit the part where he took it personal and responded directly to me out of his post because THAT is, in my opinion, the first time the thread actually derailed, but it seems it's already too late and someone has responded to/quoted him, continuing the problem, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid.

So it's like this: the next person to say something that isn't about the artwork gets skull points. I don't want to be a dick and have to say things like that, but I seriously didn't start this problem, I'm just trying to finish it. It's really disrespectful to the artist to take his thread off-topic just because you have a personal problem with another user.
