Here's the rules:
1) Player 1 names two characters, like this:

Sub-Zero or Scorpion?

2) Player 2 responds by picking one of the characters, like this:

Sub-Zero.

3) Player 2 then names the next two characters in the same post, like this:

Sektor or Cyrax?

4) Player 3 responds by picking one of the characters, and so it continues.

To recap:

Player 1: Sub-Zero or Scorpion?
Player 2: Sub-Zero. Sektor or Cyrax?
Player 3: Cyrax. Raiden or Fujin?
... and so on and so forth.
