The ideals of Superman are corrupted in this alternate DC reality where The Joker's murder of Lois Lane and his unborn child drives him to seek lethal vengeance and inspires a totalitarian regime of tyrant super-powers!
In the games, and extensive tie-in comic books, these are the ideological battlelines that lead Batman and a ragtag group of former allies & enemies to form The Resistance. Several other heroes from the DC Universe appear in the trailer, but will their fates play out exactly as they have before?
Injustice is the third animated feature to be inspired by a NetherRealm Studios fighting property, following the legends of Scorpion's Revenge and the newly released Battle of the Realms. Both take significant liberties with the established canon (and its increasing variants), which means anything could happen in Injustice when it's released to 4K, Blu-Ray, and digital later this year!

Inspired by Injustice: Gods Among Us, NetherRealm Studios' popular video game, and the best-selling DC graphic novel based on the video game, Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One by Tom Taylor, the animated film Injustice finds an alternate world gone mad - where The Joker has duped Superman into killing Lois Lane, sending the Man of Steel on a deadly rampage.
