Uh what? You think the WWE told Christian to do that splash? They made him do it? I'm pretty sure Christian decided to do it himself, it's not like the WWE agents come up with all the spots you have to do for your matches, especially when it's someone like Christian, and it's a ladder match.
.

Oh, i'm sorry. I didn't realize wrestling was in fact real and not scripted.

Being "scripted" and being entirely planned from start to finish by outside forces are two totally different things. Being that Zentile is actually, you know, a wrestler himself, I think he'd know this a lot sooner than you would.

Wrestlers typically think up their own spots and moves. It's part of being a wrestler. The best of the best (like Michaels and Jericho, for example) are even allowed to write out their own promos. It's hardly as much about "the writers" as a guy like Hulk Hogan would make you believe. Young guys need guidance, but once they gain the ability or simply have the inate ability, they work on spots themselves and eventually their promo material as well.

Christian is a veteran pretty much. WWE obviously thinks enough of him to give him this long ECW title reign, something that most other champions have not been able to enjoy with any of the titles recently. Christian has by far one of the longest title reigns this year, and that would allude to the fact he has the respect of management and surely working with an athlete like Benjamin thought up some great spots to pull off.

A recent photo of Bobby Heenan has surfaced online and it paints a very sad picture of his current health. As noted earlier, Heenan has been hospitalized at the Tampa based H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center after a scheduled examination of his surgically rebuilt jaw found an infection which needed to be immediately treated. As a result, he missed his scheduled appearance at the K&S; Wrestlefest event in New Jersey yesterday afternoon. The WWE Hall of Famer will remain hospitalized until the infection is eradicated.

Really sad to hear about his current condition and this pic really hits home about how serious it really is.
I hope he get's better.

So you think the writers just tell the wrestlers to do everything? Wow all these years you really thought wrestlers were just actors who did stunts? Wrestlers ARE the "writers" for their matches. Except when the bookers want to take the story in a specific direction and reach a consensus with the producers (like Dean Malenko) on what has to happen in the ring (usually in the finish of the match), like if they need Orton to punt Batista in the head to put him out of the ring for a few months. Other than those occasions, the wrestlers decide what they do, that's why Kurt Angle is given credit for his great matches and not Vince Russo.

Sarcasm twice in a row? That makes you EXTRA right.

So how about that RAW. I thought the Batista West thing was hilarious but I'm not sure it should've been done. Isn't Batista coming off a world title PPV match? Comedy should be done by comedy characters.

I despise Michael Cole. To me, he's the face of everything that's wrong with the WWE today.

"Vintage Undertaker with the vintage right shot! Vintagelicous!"

"The longest weekly episodic show ever made forever times two."

"I am the biggest fan of *insert guest host name here*"

"Cena is going to give the Big Show an Attitude Adjustment! Oh my! We've never seen this before! Vintagetastic!"

"Jeff Hardy is such a kindred and free spirit who loves nature and life and wants to sing to the flowers and live naked in the forest one day. I love him!"

"Jericho is saying big words again!"

"How dare you CM Punk! Coming out here and telling my kids not to do pot and drink beer! What a deranged lunatic! Go Hardy and your free and charismatic controlled vintage fury! I love Jeff Hardy! He deserves to be champion of the universe forever no givsies backsies!"

And the worst thing is when the heel wins, he talks in that soft and somber voice, acting like someone just took a puppy and lit it on fire. Oh noes, Cena lost the title? Cleanly? Wow, Sheamus is an evil villain who's purpose in life is to infect all the children in the world with cancer. What a vile and dastardly albino man! Curse him, and his drive to become better at his job!

Fuck you Cole! I hate you! AHHHH!!

No givsies backsies, rofl. Cole should just go all out and be like that.

What is up with Morrison's losing streak lately. I mean, for the most part he's lost by cheating, but you'd figure since he has a DVD coming out they'd be pushing him more.

I guess they're just beating him down so he can climb back up like a good babyface again. Not a bad time, really.

As for Cole, I've always despised him immensely. Not just because he can't call wrestling, since he refers to every suplex or slam as a throw, and not just because he's a fucking liar (As Botchamania kindly points out, Cole says ''I swear to God I've never seen Batista climb up the top rope!" when he had), but the fact that he has no respect for the wrestling business. He only has respect for the WWE business, and he still sucks at that.
I was shocked as hell when I saw on the Benoit DVD that Michael Cole, a fucking pro wrestling announcer, interviewer and personality didn't know who Jushin fucking Liger was.

Just shows you that anything could happen in the wrestling business and I can't wait to see what they do with him.

Also Over the last few weeks I've been hearing about a major overhaul of the TNA 'iMPACT! Zone' in Orlando, FL. I have been holding off on reporting anything until I could get further confirmation.

I've been told that Eric Bischoff's production company is the contractor logged in to oversee the overhaul. TNA has to notify lease agents, insurers and park officials of any construction activities because they can interrupt the filming of other productions on the lot.

I would expect a brand new set to debut on the January 4th TNA iMPACT!. There are also rumors about the six-sided ring being replaced by a 20 x 20 ring although I can't confirm that. I've sent off several emails and have not heard back just yet. Hulk Hogan has also said numerous times that he's not a fan of the six-sided ring.

I'm really excited to see all these changes happing hopefully they don't disappoint.

BRET FUCKING HART!!!! NO FUCKING WAY!!!!! I this is indeed true I will fucking watch WWE religiously!

I hope he fights Shawn Michaels, or even John Cena. There's so much they can do with him. Even though, he may be Hulk Hogan-ized now.

Looks like WrestleMania 26 will have either Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker, Shawn Michaels VS Bret Hart, Undertaker VS Bret Hart, all 3 of them, Bret Hart as guest referee for Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker and then Bret screws Shawn out of the win, or Undertaker will lose his win streak in the triple threat match because Bret Hart will beat Shawn Michaels for the main event!!!

Does anyone remember why Bret stopped wrestling in the first place? The man is seriously injured, and he's now very old and out of shape. I wouldn't count on seeing him wrestle, nor do I think I would like that to happen.

This is huge though. I think I'd like to see a DX vs Hart Dynasty for the titles down the line, that would be a huge match, and Bret should have something to do with it.

And yeah, I guess WWE wasn't happy enough with the idea of destroying Impact in the ratings. They're going to kill Impact, bring it back to life, then kill it again.

I agree with you for the most part, but I think Bret Hart knows if he can do it or not.

I remember when everyone thought HBK would be terrible because of his back injuries. I even remember a website with an eyewitness account saying he did an elbow drop in training and couldn't get up for about 20 minutes. Then he came back and has been putting on some of the best matches of his career, and usually match of the year candidates multiple times a year.

Then Ricky "Steamboat" Dragon came back in his fifties, and wrestled excellently.

I think the truth is that Bret is a proud man, and if he says he can wrestle, and steps into the ring with anybody, I have complete faith in him that he will put on a hell of a show.

I don't think he will though, I just badly wish to see the old Bret Hart back for one night only, just to kick some ass.

After impressing WWE management at a tryout before the last set of ECW and Smackdown tapings in Philadelphia, the Briscoe Brothers (Mark and Jay) were invited to a week long tryout in Florida. The Briscoes have completed the tryout, which ROH knew about, and now they wait to see if they are offered a deal.

Jessie Godderz, who appeared on the CBS reality program Big Brother, received a tryout match at the last set of iMPACT! tapings in Orlando. WWE had shown interest in the bodybuilder as he spent the last few months working out at the company's developmental promotion. At the request of TNA president Dixie Carter, he worked a dark match against Alex Shelley as she wanted to see how he would perform in the ring before committing to any type of contract with him. Reviews were said to be mixed on his in-ring performance. Both Taz and Kurt Angle advised Godderz to prove he's serious by purchasing a pair of wrestling boots. With that being said, still no word yet on whether TNA intends to move forward with him.

On another note, many within TNA feel this is the latest case of Carter becoming enamored with featuring a reality television show star in her company, following the likes of Jenna Morasca, Jonny Fairplay and Joel "Truck" Anderson.

Low Ki (a.k.a. "Kaval") is expected to debut soon on SmackDown and begin a feud with Rey Mysterio. He is expected to debut under a mask and programmed as someone from Mysterio's past in Mexico. Officials first discussed the idea early last year, but plans were thwarted when the former TNA X Division champion suffered a serious leg injury.

Things are looking good in regards to Ric Flair joining TNA as both sides are said to be close on money. However, a major point said is Flair wants a guaranteed contract with Panda Energy and not TNA, so he'd get paid in case the wrestling organization folds.

Kind of a spoiler regarding Bret Hart.
Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
WWE is expecting a Bret Hart/Vince McMahon storyline going forward, which is why the plan for the Undertaker/Vince McMahon program was changed to Undertaker/Shawn Michaels.

Bret won't wrestle unless he feels he can go 100% and really put on a good shoe. He's not Hogan or Flair; I don't think he wants to be some old guy who refuses to hang it up, he's always struck me as an extremely proud man.

Not really into the whole online CAW thing, since they can't be changed after downloaded, which I think is completely retarded.
Zentile Wrote:Not really into the whole online CAW thing, since they can't be changed after downloaded, which I think is completely retarded.

I think it's great because I don't want anybody changing my caws just so they can play with them better or try to make them cheap I want them tom play as the caw I downloaded not trying to change them just so they can play with them better

I think the things that suck about the game is

1 the stamina system didn't need this option to begin with

2 creatte a superstar points once again didn't need it

3 one button reversal system too difficult to revears thing expesially finishers

4 online play it still lacks as fuck

5 create a storymode not enought animations to tell a story and your createdsuperstar only enters in 10 times per story which SUCKS

6 the nbew kick out system similar to the tna impact game and it sucks

7 no intergender matches Why that what makes it more fun dumb wwe divas

8 the direction anlge even with the new l2 button it still difficult to pay attention to the person you want to attack

9 cheap play god why dose everybody onile got to play cheap

10 the slow gameplay makes your attacking more slower than usulal

11 slow ref count come on time for the ref to count more faster

other than that I usually play tekken 6 than this game in my opinion tekken 6 beats svr 10 by a long shot

I'm annoyed by the fact that you can't even view movelists for CAWS. I downloaded a bunch of CAWS people had made of Kawada, Tanahashi, etc, and I know those guys' movesets well in real life, but I still couldn't figure out what they had been given as signature moves in the game. I had to go from position to position looking for the icon to flash onscreen, and still couldn't find half of them.

But yeah, a problem wrestling games have is that they're essentially a weird type of competitive fighting game, but nobody treats them like they are, and they don't get playtested and shit like Street Fighter or Tekken would. So we end up with tons of stupid shit and the gameplay is retardedly broken. I've never played a game online because of this and I never intend to.
