Nice and interesting...no ref though, this better not stay this way!
And then,
In a recent interview, Ric Flair has spoken on going to TNA! ...and on that issue, he said that he'll never go to TNA.

Not really a big dissapointment. Its not like he'd do any better in TNA anyway. Course they'd give him undeserving attention since hes a wrestling legend. Like they did with Cristian, and Tomko.

Well just thought I'd revive the thread with an update on my wrestling;
Returned to training today, and am going to go back to working out at the gym everyday starting next monday. I need to get bigger, I havent worked out in months so I've actually shrunk and my tights are now no longer tight!!!! It was a great training session today, and I found out that I have a gift for springboard jumps! I had never done them before and I was pretty scared of botching it, but when I finally tried it it came out amazing! Can't wait to try them out in matches.
Also, we've gotten back in talks with a foreign promotion! Some shows will be in the making soon, and we've got shows here in Portugal coming up aswell! I'm very excited and I think the boom for our brand is finally coming.

Great news. Any new contact from any spanish promotion, or other promotion to realize shows in Spain?

Well...
The Wrestling FanFest 2007 on San Francisco completely sucked ass. Which is weird seeing as I only went on Saturday and it was a 3 day-event thing. The whole event was emty. I thought it was going to be superpacked with wrestling fanatics, but it seems as though wrestling has faded faster that my expectations of the event.
The people that I wanted to see weren't even there. No nWo. No kurt angle. no sid vicious. Which is why I feel sorry for stupid dumb dorks who spended $500 on a V.I.P ticket just to get an autograph from every superstar. What kicked ass (even though I had to wait for an hour on line), was Goldberg. He was charging $50 for a damn autograph/pic. But I payed it 'cause I didn't want to leave the FanFest emty handed and regret it for the rest of my life.
It was a cool experience seeing some other people. Scott Steiner. Damn, that guy is DEFINITELY steroid up ;). When Rowdy Piper was signing autographs/taking pics someone yelled out, "Piper, you the man!" and he responded by saying, "Thanks dad." The funniest thing was the no line waiting for Orlando Jordan. It really shows that he's an absolute nobody now and shouldn't even be charging people for anything. The hottest thing was April Hunter even though they're fake as hell. Still looks young and pretty. Christian Cage definitely lives up to his gimmick being stiff and completely to himself. Sandman was shit face drunk out of his mind. Jimmy "Superfly" snuka is getting old. But mad respect to being in the wrestling business for 33 years? damn...that's according to him. Ultimo Dragon was cool too. There some other things too like I approach Larry Zybisko (sp?) from TNA and he said he was taking a "vacation." and when I asked him is he ever returning to t.v, he said he was going to commentate since John tenay (sp?) sucks at commentating. and then for golberg, as he was signing an autograph, I told him how i'm hoping he'll come back to wresle again, and he said, "I'll see. It's always good entertaining the youth."
Overall, it was a cool event despite the negatives. I hope they organize better next year and people don't cancel at the last minute.

Wow...you met Goldberg, that rules. I hope he does start wrestling again though, he was my favorite in WCW.
XD at Orlando Jordan. I actually already got him to sign my hat (along with Heidenrighc SP?) at a library once back in...05' I think. I asked him who is favorite wrestler was, he said Rocky Johnson. Heidenrighc didn't answer for some reason though, but he read us a poem.

He'd get f*cked the hell up in TNA. They don't need a 1000 year old wrestler trying to dive off the top turnbuckle. Just imagining him in the X-Division is like Andre the Giant doing a backflip and landing on his feet.

The main event tag match tonight really wasn't all that bad, until the abrupt ending killed it. However, it was sweet to see Orton get laid out for third time thanks to HBK and the Sweet Chin Music.
Also, it's a shame to see Candice kayfabe (or maybe real, the way she fell looked really badly botched, like HBK's neckbreaker on Kennedy lol) injured, but that match was going on for entirely too long anyway, it needed to be ended regardless, and I proclaimed that it was over, Beth Phoenix was going to win it as soon as Candice climbed the turnbuckle.

No, I'm still here, just in a more "part time" basis, I've been busy with school, so I'm limited to the time I put into here.
Brock vs. Kurt is the UFC match that every UFC fan and/or maybe wrestling fan would love to see, but Angle's getting too old, and he'd likely get killed if he went into MMA
So I went to the ECW/Smackdown event last night at our nw sprint arena here in kansas city.....
I had to saw for a while i thought ecw was a recorded show like smackdown but in the begining I found out that smackdown is recorded first than go live for ecw aftwards.......
ECW was a good show... althought I almost got kicked out for chanting to Big Daddy V to put a shirt on.....
Smack down was a good show too....
After ECW was over there was a dark match with rey and batista going against finley and khali.... all i have to say it was good to see rey and batista as a tag team again... also one of local radio stations kid got to go in the ring after the match who was wearing the rey mysterio halloween costume and rey asked the kid to do the 619 on him but stop him as he was running to the ropes...
I didnt know who the kid was until i heard the radio and that the other disc jockies were giving the father crap about taking pictures with his cell phone and not having a actual camera in which the kids's fav wrestler is rey and that they were giving him crap about what if the cell got dropped or broken and that the kid would get roid rage against him....
ne ways it was a good show except for the beging when I got to the event and that I attempted to buy a mysterio mask and guide and that there credit card machine wasnt working and that one of the wokers promised he would hold the items for me inorder i can run to the atm to buy the item and i returm he apologized said he had to sell the mask and it pissed me off to the point i was make a scence and possible get kicked out for it but luckily my fiance calmed me and i found another booth and I luckily bought the last mask at that booth....
ne ways... thought i share my experience with you guys...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
It start off with mvp's talk show the vip lounge i think its called that... ne ways they interviewd rey and finley talking to them about there match later tonite it ended up a shoving between the two and it just turn into a brawl between rey and finley and that mvp and mat if I remember right just arguged like school girls...
after that correct me if im out of order with the matches... but there is talk between eddie's wife and ecw's manager and that he thanks her for having his superstars on the show tonite in a triple threat match....
I know the jeese and festus match was a bore.... couple of jobbers they faced.... I called the tag team jesse and festus at first cletus and fetis.... lol.... ne ways
the next scene we see jamie noble trying to woo the gm of smackdown into some tlc but ending up getting a imprompt to match with batista which was a quick match.....
there was the triple threat ecw match between miz (big loser in my opinion just needs to return to mtv) vs big dady V vs john morisson..... me and my friend new that big daddy v was going to win the match cause its pretty much a uphill battle for the both miz and morrison to fight him... and that you will notice morrison doesnt try to break up the count that lead to big daddy v's win......
then the main event.... mvp and matt hardy vs rey mysterio and fit finley.... it basically wasnt much a tag... i mean both teams worked togehter then rey and fit finley fell apart after taggin himself in and when he reach for rey to get tagged he leaned back and brushed him off....after some pushing around by rey and finley rey was back in the match jumping from the top to hit mvp but instead finley got hi after mvp moved finley hit rey in the stomach with his tool and mvp got the win....
then jbl came out to promote cyber sunday and threw out "vote for jbl" shirts and interview taker which he tried to force take to wear his shirt but ended up getting chokeslammed on his mike then batista came out to show he wasnt scared and speared taker and twalked up the ramp only to look at taker already back up staring him down then end of show...

You know, for all the shit people give the new ECW, I actually find it mildly entertaining. If they had the matches they had back then, it's probably be one of the top shows on cable right now. CM Punk is simply golden (but I mark out for him like crazy, so I might be biased. lol) They have good talent over there, that's without a doubt (except Vis. Take him back to his mid-card love machine gimmick. funny stuff with his angle with Lillian a couple years back).
Cyber Sunday is looking to suck this year. Orton's going to win, no matter who we vote for. CM Punk will drop the belt to Morrison if he wins, and Taker is going to get screwed by whoever is the ref. Trips is going to pwn Umaga, and i don't care about the rest of the matches. *yawns*
It's kind of sad that Jarrett is losing power in TNA. Being the man that help start the company, and losing power to KURT ANGLE?! Are you for serious? I had such high hopes for TNA.
Has anyone seen the interview Samoa Joe did with GameTap for the TNA iMPACT! game? I love this quote he gave: "I don't think violence is complicated. It's a very simple affair, it's a very direct affair, and I believe that's how people like it. That's where I get my style. Besides, when you have thousands of fans chanting at you to murder someone, it gives you pretty good incentive to do just that." Classic Joe.
So, in closing, TNA needs to get in gear quick, ECW still has potential if Vince gets his over-inflated head out of his ass, and Cyber Sunday is going to blow. Thanks for reading the rant.

I agree with you about 55%. I think Cyber Sunday has some potential, and it is kinda hard to predict 100% what will happen. TNA is going down hill, imho, but I hope they can recover. The "New ECW" is alright, but pales in comparrison to Raw and Smacdown and will never reach the heights of its former glory

K, the ECW spiel i agree with. Just combine everything back together because the different "brands" are just going downhill. They can't produce quality shows anymore, and the draft really makes no sense because they keep moving stars every which way all year anyways. TNA will be able to recover, but the need to let Angle drop the belt to one own TNA's own, not Sting. (as much as I like him and mark out for him) A Styles/Joe fued for the strap has fued of the year written all over it, imo. Personally, I will not be tuning in for Cyber Sunday, because someone earlier (i think Zent) put it best: This isn't who people want to see wrestle each other anymore, it's a fucking popularity contest, and it sucks how they're doing this.
K, I'm done. lol

I never said it was good, I said it was alright. I know it'll never be good with the direction they're going, which is why I think the WWE should just cut their losses with ECW, and send the talent to Raw and Smackdown
