WWE suing THQ and Jakks again
Pro-wrestling federation files a second suit against game publisher and toymaker with the same goal of having its game-license agreements terminated.

Two years ago this week, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) filed suit against the publishers of its games, THQ, Jakks Pacific, and their joint venture THQ/Jakks Pacific LLC, as well as a number of individuals working for or with the companies. That suit alleged that the defendants conspired to unfairly win the WWE license agreement, resorting to racketeering and bribes in order to land the coveted deal after the wrestling company's license with Acclaim expired.
That case is still making its way through the courts, but THQ announced that the WWE filed another suit against the companies last week, this time alleging improper sales of WWE games in Japan and other Asian countries. Like the original legal action, the new suit seeks monetary damages and a declaration that the WWE can terminate its licensing agreement with THQ, Jakks Pacific, and THQ/Jakks Pacific. Both THQ and the joint company have said the suit is without merit and that they will fight it.
The legal battles haven't stopped the companies from working together in the meantime, however. THQ is set to release WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and PlayStation Portable next month.

I wonder how much of this is true? If THQ stops making the WWE games, then who is there left to make them? EA sure couldn't.

quick question.....what happened to stacy keibler?..(my bad if i mispelled her last name)
Hey i watch TNA and WWE, however there are some things i missed on occasions, and i dont have a clue where most of you guys get your information.
Anywhoo, billy kidman was awsome, where the hell did he go is he injured, retired did WWE let him go whats the deal, thanks in advance.
Also anyone think that goldberg will come back ever ? i doubt it but the unlikely rumour that mcmahon is thinking of bringing WCW back since ECW is going so well could very well be the only chance we have of getting our jackhammering spearing monster back, im thinking eric bischof was sacked for that storyline purpose.
I doubt it though.
"who's Next ?"

I missed BFG because I was I'mof town :cries:. Looked to find it at a bar/casino but no go. I'm actually at my hotel writing this, lol. I read the results and it sounded hella sick. Looking forward to reading the impact spoilers tonight when I get back from dinner.
Kidman has been doing indies. He was backstage at a TNA taping and they said he'd get a call when they hit two hours - which is awsome, beause little billy can go go go...well, if he loses a little weight, lol. At the TNA fan interaction before BFG I guess Nash was asked who was going to be in the invitational. He said Goldberg and the crowd broke out into boo's, lol.
Oh, and I guess sirelda made an appearance? Man, people hate on her a lot, but at least she's different. Not your typical white girl or ethnic exotica. Be cool if she honed her skills and got a bit less green. Meh. Looking forward genesis and the BFG DVD.
Peace dudes.

That's right, Sting is the new NWA TNA World Heavyweight Champion. I liked his new "hybrid" face paint.
Too bad he'll probably lose the Title to Joe, but I guess that's OK since his purpose in TNA is to help younger guys get over.

I think it ended up her getting booted out of the match by A-1 afterwards. Well I would have probably thought nothing of it if they didnt bring it up during the match. Like if it just happened with no commentation fine im cool with it, but the Hey thats not supposed to hurt her, makes me think they might be calling her a transvestite

DVD review time.
Torymon Mexico: Tiger Sayama in Mexico
Courtesy of purodvd.com
Consists of two shows, actually. Both great, but the later is wonderfull - great crowd. Matches are fairly solid from top to bottom. Some sketch spots, but such is such with lucha. Ultimo Dragon, Mistico, Tiger Mask(s) all put on a great show as expected. Mistico is fucking awsome. I first saw a vid of him on youtube and he made a fan for life. Other great talent on the DVD i'm going to have to educate myself on, too.
Some decent comedy spots, some strong style and some high spots thrown in as well. Nice ballance. Decent camera work but, the later show had some white ballance issues and the video got hella washed out at times. Better than being to dark, I guess and it was only for a short period so, meh.
DVD itself is pretty much shill quality, lol. Has a burned DVD, hand written label and some .99 cent dvd case, haha. Worked in my ps2, though, so that's cool. Some matches were edited though nothring to dramatic and most good/important matches were left in-tact. It's in japanese. As of late I've been getting into watching shows in other languages. It's kinda nice because it makes you focus on, thus appreciate, how the story is told in the ring and through manerisms - crowd play, gestures, rhythm and so on.
DVD presentation is half assed but, in an intimate, sexy kind of way, lol.I 'm glad I made the purchase and recommend it to anyone who likes lucha and puro, because it's a mix of both. Also, to those looking to expand out of the US scene. If you like clean production qaulity, then steer clear.
Takes a butt load of time to ship, though.
Edit: Oh, and i'm sorry the portugal show was pushed back, Zent.

That sounds like me. I'm not usually too big on lucha myself, but I love watching me some now and then. Especially if there's strong style influence thrown in the mix, as you tend to get with Toryumon. Strong-lucha for the win. Thanks for linking me to that site too, haha, I didn't even know it existed. Not only do they sell tons of other cool shit, they also sell Battlearts and Big Mouth LOUD DVD's! Big Mouth LOUD! Battlearts! I'm going to waste so much fucking money there within the next half an hour.
Anyway I just thought i'd post, because I love you all, to let you guys know that a great Samoa Joe interview has just been put up here this morning, where Joe speaks a bit on the upcoming TNA game by Midway, rips into Umaga, defends WWE's watered down style, talks a bit about ROH and TNA crowds, the BFG pay per view, Angle, Kobashi, "technical wrestling", and a bunch of other cool stuff. It's a nice interview, he's a rather eloquent chap.

Yeah the show got pushed back to January 5th. Fuckers. Honestly the first thing I was told was that it had been cancelled altogether, but for some reason it really didnt bother me all that much to be honest. I've been so satisfied with my ''carreer'' with Spain and the EWE that I really don't feel like it's all that big of a deal to share the locker room with AJ, Angle, etc, because I feel I'll be doing it in a few years anyway. Thanks for the support though. Where do you get the info from?
