huh....interesting question. acclaim(the original creators of the game) has officialy gone under. last i heard, as reported by ign i believe, is that the liscense has been picked up by another company who apparently plans on using it. outside of that, nothing has been revealed. time will tell i guess.

i don't have an exact link for the ign news, use their search engine, it should drag it up.

I knew Acclaim shit the bed, but I was wondering like you said if that other company would pick up the Legends of Wrestling project. Whatever the company, I hope that another one comes out. The one thing I disliked was the wrestling engine and schematics. It should be more like Smackdown! vs. RAW.

The show wont air on television or anything, which is a damn shame, but still. Yep, I've now been contacted and it's confirmed I'll be part of the show. First man in, in a 6 man gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the Portuguese Title. As the first man in, the odds of me winning are the lowest, but still it's going to be awesome. I think I'll wear my mask and use the Pegasus Junior gimmick. To help give it a big time feeling. I might give AJ a tip or two. Maybe go out for a drink with Samoa Joe or a date with Gail Kim. Holy shit, this is big. This is really big for me. October 31st. An actual arena, one of the greatest arenas in Lisbon. Amazing, I cant believe it.

Well, scorpio, yes . . . Legends of Wrestling did suck, but like Detox said, in the hands of another developer such as THQ, etc. it could be awesome. Possibly like Smackdown! vs. RAW.

Hah, that's cool. My friend had drinks with the TNA guys when they went to Aussie by stalking down the bar they were in after the International Assault show. Apparently Chris Daniels only drinks Corona, so if ya' wanna hang out with him, try offering to buy him one. And steer clear of Jarrett if he's drinking because he's a mean/random/suspicious drunk who picks fights with people for no reason. Seriously.

I hope you have a good time though. All I hear about from by friends who have meet those guys in person is how nice they are and how approachable and accomadating they are for their fans, particularly AJ who seems to never, ever mind signing an autograph or posing for a photo. But with the exception of Samoa Joe, who apparently isn't approchable and is really fucking intimidating, but is a really nice guy when you get talking to him. I wouldn't know myself, but I hope it holds true for your sake.

I can not believe it, That major annoucement was honestly the greatest thing I have ever...EVER heard in TNA HISTORY! I was like oh yay, we all know its going to be either two hours or primetime thats not big what a waste of time, but when Cornette showed that real video of the major annoucement, MY JAW DROPPED! I could not believe it one bit I thought it was fake, but because of this annoucement honestly TNA will win the War against WWE!

Anyway the show was AWESOME tonight, Loved the Ultimate X, the Jackass stuff really got old, I mean funny for the Lethal match, retarded for the Sabin match because if it never happened the match just would have been better.

First, the Show...it was really good. Only a couple of AVERAGE matches that still entertained and the rest were pretty high on the bar,, performance wise. UX and Senshi/Sabin were great, but yah, the finish to Sen/sab was pretty shitty. Match was VERY well put together up untill the last minute, though. JJ/Joe was kinda anti climatic, but it was good fun, lol. Seeing JJ take a strap to the back of his head made me sit back smile.

Kurt....fucking....Angle!!!!

Okey, so we have an ethical dilema. I for one DO NOT want Kurt to wrestle if he isn't healthy. I seriously do want him to be able to play with his kids and not destroy himself. So I hope this is taken care of.

However, this is big indeed. Angle still gets to perform, gets a MUCH lighter schedule - it's not even a schedule for him. Plus, he gets to train for MMA, which will get him healthy again...hopefully. It's simply sureal that he's going to be in TNA. Slap in the face to WWE, lol. GO ANGLE!!! Rush that E shit down, strong style!!!

What's so great is that we will get to see him perform like we all know he can. Not this watered down WWE shit. New slogan for TNA:

"Our ring has six sides...but only one Angle."

I used to love watching wrestling back in the Raw is War and WCW monday Nitro days. I got sick of the shit story lines. Ones like rape, kidnap and all that shit when Mrs Mcmahon went into the phsyco ward. To me, that is not entertainment. I miss Stone Cold Steve Austin too.
I may get back into it but I doubt it.

The thing i'm most amped about, is that I remember that TNA has a talent exchange thing going on with some Japanese promotions, and that just opens up a whole world of gnarly matchups. Especially considering Angle's interest in MMA, so he could have some of the greatest shoot style matches ever against guys like Yuji Nagata and stuff, which TNA are quite capable of bringing in from NJPW. The door opens even wider if TNA send Angle to Japan for a match or two. And then there's the possibility of him having a couple ROH matches on the side if he feels compelled to do so, which he might considering the buzz around Danielson being the best in the world, and that Angle always has to be the best at everything - there's an obvious clash there.

Angle vs Danielson. BOOK IT.
I'd rather see Angle vs Nagata myself though. But still, awesome possibilities.

Saty, i'm checking with my friends to see what they've got in regards to leads for IA DVD's. I'm getting some official Super Dragon DVD's from a dude who bought a ton of hard-to-get merch at those shows, so hopefully he knows where to get that sort of stuff.

Who thinks Big Show should just be The Giant again? Grow his hair long, gain a few pounds. He is already tall, (7'2). I liked him as The Giant better. But as Big Show, he just used his name and moves to create his own cliche and persona, which is kinda dumb. I guess I just miss those days of WCW . . . hope TNA will be just like it.

Yea..now that I think about it, it does sound a little fishy...What happened to Angle's no-compete clause? isn't it like 90 days or something like that? It's been what? 45 days since he left wwe? Angle is expected to debut at genesis or when they go prime time. I doubt BFG, but you never know.
