well, its really not a "money" issue...you would think that a site called "the ultimate mk experience" would allow mklinks..after all, we are all here for the same reason.

i guess if its not involved with mko, they dont want it.

if you arent a mod here, or have info they cant get, then dont expect your link to be in the network. every sites thats in the network, is part of the mko staff (besides the mk3 movie page, but thats just for the info)

Thanx to Scorpio for having the balls to post this. MKO staff we would like to know the answers to those ?'s. Is it true what he says..i seem to agree with everything he said..We're just wondering how long this post will stay up.

Well, the WWE didn't advertise ECW and WCW, because it was the competition. MKOnline wants to be the #1 source for all MK news, so of course they don't want you advertising to other sites. They want you here, not there. They want this site to be the biggest, and best MK site, which means they have to beat out all the other MK sites. I'm sure it's not just because they 'hate' these sites and want them to die off, it's just they would rather you find out all the news and things here.

really? cause theres news in the sites in the network. if mko had it their way, there probably wouldnt be any other mk sites.

You are mistaken, that is not advertising at all. This comment leads me to believe you haven't read the FAQ at all. You are not allowed to create threads specifically to advertise a website. Upon further reading, you will see that the FAQ states that you may give links when they pertain to the discussion at hand. Which means, if a thread was discussing where to find commands for a classic MK game, giving a link to the movelist would be fine.

Also, please understand the difference between moderator and staff. There is a great difference.
