I don't hate him, I think he's a cool character, but he shouldn't be everyone's bitch. I hope Raiden doesn't kill him like people or wanting, I think he could actually defend himself against Raiden if he tried to kill him anyways.

I see why people are pissed about shujinko. He steals special moves and he is kind of everyone's bitch. But we do have to remember he gets rewarded for what he does. If he got a cat out of a tree he got paid. I know i'd climb a tree so fucking fast for $100. Thats wat i have to say about him doing wat people tell him.

And i think he is a good character. He has strong combos and good special moves. I just wish they would've given him at least one unique special move and at least given him two styles that didn't come from the same person.

( and probly already know this) is because both the mantis and the shoalin fist
ariginated in the shoalin temple, and they both came from there. But i agree that they could have thrown in maby 1 diferent style.

Well, without Konquest mode or Shujinko there would probably be no Mortal Kombat: Deception game because the whole game is based on Onaga tricking Shujinko into getting the Kamidogo's for him. Think about it.
Without Shujinko as the main character for the game, the game might as well have been called Mortal Kombat 6: Another Shitty Sequel. Am I right or wrong?

I don't hate him, the only reason why I think most people hate is because they SUCK at MK Deception. Most people that suck at Deception started taking there anger out on Shujinko and Ed boon.

I used to suck at deception, but I didn't start crying like a little baby!

Shujinko is a great charecter, i play with him all the time.

wel idont hate him much specialy he uses his combos,
but is damn irritating when he use the specials. you have to guess them

The thing is... His moves belong to other characters which makes him relatively unoriginal. And that's okay for some characters, but not for the ones who are supposed to be the NEW CHAMPION! That's why I hated Shinnok (he didn't even transform physically!) and I liked shang tsung because he was THE original shapeshifter and move stealer. Shujinko, was created FOR the purpose of being a new hero/move stealer. Plus he's the bitch of the 'Elder Gods' with no will of his own. Plus he's old. I don't hate him, but I do think he's the worst character in the game.

Shujinko is ok thats why i guess some people like him. Personally i dont like him. His age doesnt matter because an old man gives character to the game. I just dont like him simply because how is he supposed to be the new liu kang for the next generation but is totally unoriginal?

Ill break it off for you all right now. Yes his combos are nice...big deal you cant give him that credit because his fighting style arent his. mantas was kung lao's style. I know many people can learn a fighting style but come on mostly every fighting style is a hand me down from DA probably coz midway was too lazy to record new ones. Also he doesnt have his own moves. I mean rippin off moves is a huge no no for me. Some people may like it but its a huge no no for me totally unoriginal. Yes it falls in with his storyline coz he was trained by like everyone but he could have used that knowledge he gained from training to elevate the techniques into his own. The new hero of MK can even advance himself to a higher level because he's limiting himself from being creative.

I honestly did not expect them to have shujinko be no more than a mime or a tekken mokujin. Plus he is very gullable. Everything about him yells pawn. Yes there could have been a MK6 without shujinko because most likely midway would have taken the whole Shao Khan clone thingy into all the systems and called it deception just as easily and the deception would be that the DA did not really kill the real Khan. I think it was too soon to do that so they threw in Onaga.

I mean to be honest.......besides the story and bio.....how is Shujinko any different than Chameleon and Khameleon? they all rip off of various peoples moves. And shang is way different then them being that he is a sorcerer and steals souls and plays a key role to the MK roots.

The main reason i dont like shujinko is because im sick of Midway passing around moves like musical chairs. Lets give kai's move to ashra, hmmm lets give sonya's and kanos to kira, lets give ermacs to kenshi, lets give quan chi' and shangs fighting style to havik damn the list goes on. And for them to do this to the quote "New Hero" is very very bad. The new hero if from the white lotus could have been totally original like kung lao is from liu kang....his look was a new step but the move jacking makes him very bland no matter what story he has or how much damage he can do from copying. So for who ever says....o well let me do a 89% combo on you and lets see if you say that again i say let me pick smoke or bo rai cho and do a 100% combo on you and i'll show you that damage means nothing, there are plent of combos in MKD that deal into the 80's. There needs to be originality in the new characters and even more originality in the new heros in every aspect, moves, weapon, story and look...thats what makes a good hero. Kang and Lao both had that quality. Maybe Midway needs to pick up someone new to help in the freshness of characters.
