If your using the XBox version I'll try to hatch up some new faces for you. How do you get it into the game? Is it a patch added to the harddrive or do you have to make a new disc?

From what I'm gathering, he found a way to extract the textures of the KAK and maybe even the normal character costumes from MKA, and is using them to put in new faces and clothes and such, to 'improve' KAK. From what he's saying, the changes will only appear in the normal, offline game, replacing certain existing face and clothing textures with the custom ones for your game only. Essentially, he's making a mod patch for MKA's KAK mode.

He basicly said he can extract the KaK part textures from the MKA disc, modify them, then in some form put the modified textures back into the game.

Those pictures are the textures for the male "Normal", "Cyborg", and "Skull Make-up" faces in the KaK. They're green for the game's palette editor.

Please explain is this only for face textures or can it be clothing, weapons, etc?

My guess would be (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) that you'd have to have a modded PS2 and actually burn a new copy of the game with your textures replacing the originals for this to have an actual use.

Great stuff! Maybe you can put all the parts of the characters in KAK mode so you would be able to recreate them with other moves and styles. I may want Shang Tsung turned from Red to Purple and have gray hair, just like the old Shang Tsung :P

Any chance you can change the primary costumes of the characters to the outfits of the KAKs, so they will have a classic look? That would be awesome.

can you make a tutorial how to do this and when you make your own face does it just add the texture or replaces it with another texture?

The coolest part is being able to erase the stupid forehead ridges every created character seems to have. MK characters aren't Klingons, you jackasses. :P
