Excellent renders!!....Kano's face fits perfect and Sonya....i think she's nice in that render,if she's an army girl she doesn't needs to be a Victoria's Secret model,haha,she's Sonya Blade!...enough said.

.......the renders do look "shiny", but we all know they don't look that well-rendered in gameplay.

I like the step they took in terms of detail with Kano and Sonya, and they should continue that state of thinking with the MK7 graphics.

No I totally agree with you. What the hell have they done to her. First of all she has studs in her belly button.....I hate that I can't handle that It's gross to me. Plus how can you fight with it on, her guts could get ripped out if her opponent grabs her there.

Secondly her thong is visible. This is SO NOT Sonya. She would never do that. Do you see women in the army these days with their thongs hanging out. I don't think so. She is supposed to be a hero......not the next big slut!

Lastly I don't like what they have done to her face. Sonya just doesn't look like Sonya there. And when I first saw the picture I thought she had granny hair lol. I haven't made up my mind whether Sonya is uglier than Li Mei or not, but both are ugly for sure.

Since this is in MK2 era why didn't those Midway perverts just give her either her MK1 or MK3 attires. She was the best in MK3.

Is it me or does Kano actually look like a classic cyborg with his laser eye now? At first it only covered a small area around his eye; now it covers a decent amount of his and it looks as if it's under his skin.

The characters look great! However, I think there's something wrong with Sonya's face. Kinda looks like a guy in a wig (the body's ok, though). Sorry, but that's just my opinion.

Its interesting to see so many opinions. Some love the look and say she looks the best, others simply dislike that face.

Her face does look strange, not as good as it should , that’s probably the only thing that disappointed me of her, but it doesn’t look that terrible to be called a slut or ugly (please, she is by far the only decent female of MK, all the rest are either naked in swimsuits or with practically nothing at all!).

Actually the more I look at that render the more I get used to that pic and I like it . But Im hoping they fix it, maybe its too late but they should, TOO much cheeks IMO, not good, yet, not terrible.

The problem is, the MKteam tried to hard with MKSM, they tried to make them all look realistic and ended up looking kind of weird in the end, look at Liu Kang and Kung Lao renders...not good (actually, Liu in the intro after he kicks Reptile looks TERRIBLE!)

Sonya SHOULD look sexy in the face, tough but sexy, in this pic, her face is just tough, not sexy. But, the thong is perfect, Im so glad they introduced that in MKDA! , I love that hair! classic, and the piercing looks amazing! , I personally dislike exaggerated piercing, but this one looks elegant.

I hope they fix that face problem with her, Liu Kang and Kung Lao in the end. Please give Sonya back the face-sexiness she has always had.

Sonya, yea.. just the face.. the eyes are a little crossed looking, they are pretty, and the lips ehhh.. but definitely the honker and the jawline.

The body = SMOKIN. The outfit is better, I like it. Even though this game is based before MK2, after MK1? So that must be her real Special Forces outfit (without gear of course) and not her Mortal Kombat outfit?

In that render Sonya reminds me of a prawn. Good body, shit head. The level of detail is great. I hope MK7 looks that good.

I guess everyone view women differently but i still stand by that Sonya looked ugly in MK: SM. I prefer her MKDA look anytime. She looked very pretty in that game.
