Nah, i dont bother with action figures at all anymore, it was a childhood thing that died out in me a few years ago. On top of that, they do such a crap job of it as can be shown in these ones. I think it was the dissapointment of so many crappy MK figures that made me grow out of it eventually.

So like, what about EB Games or something like that? And not likely at a Wal-mart or Zellers?

Well, looks like my suspicions were right. WARNING! Long rant ahead!

How utterly pathetic. Scorpion and Sub-Zero figures from both Deception and Shaolin Monks. There ARE other characters in the series. It's stupid to see a pair of ninjas that look essential identical get so many damn toys made. Pick Deception or Monks and make those figures, then focus on other characters in the series. We sure as hell don't need 50 new figures of the same two characters. (Especially since there are lots of characters in the series we have ZERO figures of) It's a miracle anyone buys them. Between Midway's one-trick advertising pony of throwing Scorpion on the cover jacket of every recent MK game (whether written or visible, he's always there. We already know he will be, so just shut up about it already)and the terrible story re-writing in 'Monks, Mortal Kombat is really losing a lot of its appeal IMO. Either focus on different characters or just quit making the games. That was the great thing about the series until recently--no matter your personal tastes, there was a charater for you. Yet, despite the fact the developers acted like Deception's roster was a "big risk" because it took away a lot of long-time, established fan-favorites, we still had those two. That's not taking a risk.

I'm actually starting to hate the 2 ninjas, something I've never done (especially since Sub-Zero is one of my favorite characters to play as). But if I'm suppossed to see nothing but ninjas in every preview (even Shaolin Monks mentioned Sub-Zero in the first article we read about it. How annoying), every game, every piece of merchandising I see, then I'll just quit being a fan. This is getting absurd.

Oh, and yes.... waaaah, waaaah! Boo-hoo! ......that's just so everyone doesn't bother telling me to quit whining. I have an opinion, and I stated it.

I will own them! Those are so much cooler looking then the first series!

I understand where ur coming from. What i think is that Boon and co. are trying to make MK appeal to the mass game players, and they have chosen Scorpion and Subby to like the "poster children" for all thse who arent that familiar with MK. Think about it, if Liu Kang was still the main face of the MK franchise, everyone will think "whats so special? just another video game Bruce Lee ripoff" I know this is absurd, because Liu Kang was one of the first Bruce Lee inspired characters, but u know, people are ignorant.

Why not try and find some action figures from other countries? when i was 7 and I visited my grandparents in argentina i bought a Baraka figure that I've NEVER seen anywhere else. I also saw a Jax and an MK1 Shang Tsung. See if u can find some of these Klassic figures (they were about the same quality that these MKSM are now) Like I said, i dont care about these toys anymore, but I'd like to pass on my advice.
