For superman i would like to have bizzaro superman as his alt.
For GL, i would like his original to be Hal Jordan, and his alt to be Stewart.
For Sub i would want his cryomancer armor from deception.
For scorpion, the original deadly alliance outfit.
For Jax i would really like his MK II, no metal arms but still no stupid "ghetto"ness to it.
And for Bats and Joker, i know its a stretch but their looks from The Dark Knight would be amazing.
And i have no clue what kind of alts everyone else would have.

Riiiight, i forgot it was supposed to be between 2 and 3, so i guess no cryo armor for sub, but the other stuff i'm looking for is feasable, since we dont' know the timeline for DC, and jax got his metal arms between the two games theres no reason he couldn't not have them as an alt.

So what if the characters who have been confirmed were in those two games. Doesn't mean that they need to fallow the same dress attire from the previous games. Sub-Zero never looked like that in Mk2, neither did Sonya.

scorpion- for his alt i think itd be cool to see an actualy skeleton in his ninja outfit rather than just his mkda alt. i think his mkda alt is basically ghost rider and also his mkda look look to stocky. like his muscles are so buff it makes him look really short and stocky and other characters from mkda looked like that to. but like i was saying, it doesnt totally have to be a skeleton in his ninja outfit because that wil make him look scrawny, but like maybe a variation of it where his body looks like a rotting corpse where it shows skeleton and like his skin and stuff partially on his body all ripped, well you sort of get the idea.

catwoman- id like to either see her unmasked with long hair, or she can keep her mask and have long hair.

liu kang- zombie is the coolest, in terms of which looks coolest, and id like to see his zombie outfit, but also one of midways main focuses when it comes to costumes are to be different in each game.

sonya-hopefully give her any different look than her current one in the render.

Liu Kang - I say his appearance in MK1 would be pretty cool. Plain black pants with white monk shoes, Don't even have Liu Kang wear the headband, but have him sport his old mullet style hair cut as shown in character drawings of him.

Sub-Zero - I think a modified version of his MK3 appearance would be cool sporting a younger version of Sub-Zero without the mask and a red scar.

Superman - I'd like to see 80's version superman with long curly black hair.

Batman - Either have his appearance from Batman TAS, or his TDK appearance.

Joker - Have Joker decked out with his full 3 piece suit and top hat.

Sub-Zero - MK2/Mk4 outfit. Whatever happened to the wonderfully simple basic outfits?

Scorpion - MK3. Still his best.

Sonya - Gotta go with her Shaolin Monks outfit. Whatever, we NEED to see her ponytail without that annoying baret. More Kerri Hoskn-ish too.

Liu Kang - neck-snapped zombie version.

Shang Tsung - Mk1 or Mk2 outfit. He needs his creepy white eyes back.

Kitana - Let that hair down! You could put a sumo suit on her just so long as the hair is down.

Superman - Hmm, tough one. How 'bout cyborg Superman, aka Hank Henshaw? Or Steel?

Batman - Azrael version. Easily. Or just anything with more "black". The Dark Knight is not so dark right now.

Flash - Zoom version, the "anti-Flash".

Catwoman - please, no Halle Berry. Try her Jim Balent 90's costume. That one is so much better than her currently cleavage-sporting, goggled uniform.

The Joker - The Dark Knight Returns version. No, not the movie version. The Frank Miller Joker.

Captain Marvel - Black Adam alternative.

yeah the jim balent catwoman look is really good, i still liked halle berry as catwoman(her looks, not the movie itself) catwoman would look cool as this alt costume- halle berry version, with the long hair from jim balents version, as i stated in my previous post i wanted long hair on catwoman.

I agree. Is the MK team just scared of girls with long hair? Every girl's hair so far has been tied back, hidden, or bunched up.

nice, but yeah i think the mk team is afraid of long normal hair, on the good looking mk girls at least.the only girls that actually had normal long hair down were sindel and tanya in deception, and their looks in deception werent all that great. if they just made the catwoman look i mentioned, id be in love with her.

Alternate costumes aren't ''canon'', so why shouldn't Sub-Zero have his Shredder Armour?

I'd like to see Sub-Zero's alternate as either the Shredder Armour or his MK3/MKDA unmasked look.
Scorpion's alternate should be his movie look. It's a very simple and cool costume that's never been in the games.
Superman should be either Bizarro or his black costume with no cape from when he came back from the dead.
Batman I'd like to see his original Tim Burton outfit, or the classic blue and grey costume.
Catwoman's should NOT be the Halle Berry costume, that was horrible. The Tim Burton outfit was far cooler, I'd like to see that.
I think we all want the Joker to have the Dark Knight look.
If the Green Lantern is Hal Jordan, his alternate should be Kyle Rayner.
Flash should have his Earth 2 counterpart's outfit.

Sonya should have on a police uniform with shades on for her alternate. that would be sexy as hell, damn. a sexy police uniform though

Shang should have either his MK3 look or his MKDA primary as his alt costumes.

Scorpion: MKDA Secondary, or anything involving a fiery skull.
Sub-Zero: I'd like to see him in his MKDA Primary, but I assume he'll have the Shredder Armor.
Liu Kang: MK1-Esque look.
Sonya: My hope: Something practical, like a BDU or something. My Expectation: Something a stripper would wear.
Jax: Don't Care.
Kitana: MK Movie Costume.
Shang Tsung: MKDA Primary. That was an awesome costume.

Superman: Cyborg Superman/Bizarro/Zod/Soviet Superman/Kingdom Come/Superman-Prime costume. Really, there are so many possibilities, I can't decide.
Batman: Movie look. Or hell, Soviet Batman (I liked the fur hat).
Catwoman: Batman Returns costume/Classic Purple with long hair one.
Joker: Original Red Hood costume.
Flash: Jay Garrick costume.
Green Lantern: Mogo. Nah, it's just hard to decide between Stewart, Gardner, and Rayner. In a perfect world, I'd say Hal Jordan's costume as Parallax.
Captain Marvel: New, white haired/costumed Shazam look. Or maybe Black Adam.

Sub-Zero:
Someting like a touched up version of his MK:DA/MK3 primary attire. Maybe even with his mask on without the headdress so that way his hair is exposed. During battle the mask could be knocked off to expose his whole face as well.

Scorpion:
A modified version of his MK Deception alt. outfit except with a flaming skull.

Sonya:
Something like her MK:DA primary, but touched up and changed a little. Instead of a low-cut shirt with jacket, have it be a white undershirt that isn't low-cut, and a black jacket with her military stuff on it. No baret, have a military black hat like she had in the first MK movie. Have a belt with her handgun and radio etc. too. Have her Dogtags on the belt like in her primary. Black pants, with black military boots. Have a strap with a military knife attached to her leg.

Shang Tsung:
Something like his MK:DA attire with his older MK1 styled looks.

Jax:
Black military pants, with no metal arms and if his primary has a berat, no beret, and if it doesn't, then have a beret. Have his dogtags around his neck. Black military boots.

Liu Kang:
Black pants with no shoes. A sleeveless worn out red jacket with the White Lotus Society symbol on the back.

Kitana:
Somewhat like a blue and black dress kind of like Li Mei's primary in MK:DA, with no mask and hair not in a ponytail.

Batman:
Black armor like in TDK, but it doesn't have to be the same, but a armored all black and grey look would be cool. This, or his classic grey and blue attire.

Superman:
Any of Supermans other comic attires would be cool.

Flash:
Not sure what you could do with this, maybe an original design or oldschool look with the silver helmet.

Catwoman:
The one from Batman Returns would be pretty cool, with the stitching and shinyness and all. During the fight it could get torn and tattered like in the movie and you could have some hair coming out in torn parts of the mask.

Shazam:
I really have no idea about this character's outfits to know what he should have. Maybe a white outfit or something would be cool for color variety.

Joker:
Hid Dark Knight outfit and look would be the best option here. It just looks modern and dark.

Green Lantern:
There was a really cool attire I saw for Hal Jordan I believe, but it was in some book I saw years ago, so I don't think I could show you. It had Black military boots, green gloves that covered his forearms too. classic black, green, and white bodysuit thing. Black short hair with the classic green mask. I liked this look a lot.

Can't wait to see what ideas they come up with, obviously with DC they'll need their ok but I do hope to see more darker alternates for Batman(DK look) and Superman(post Doomsday black suit)

If there are alternate costumes they are not going too be from the movies especially since Boon said they were staying away from the movies. anyway The Flash: Zoom or Black Flash costume. Superman; Red Sun or Bizzaro costume. The Joker: Red Hood or Killing joke costume. Green Lantern: Parallax of course. Captain Marvel: Wizard or King Marvel costumes. Batman: Azrael Batman costume or Darkest Knight costume.

If DC approves the Joker cut face from the dark knight is in.
