Mavado must return. He is one of the best things to happen to MK for awhile and he is one of the better new characters. His story and look rock and he is great in game, even though he lacks some decent special moves. He is a fave of mine and I hope to see him in MKD.

I really hope he does return, he might be after Kabal, knowing he has/had links with the Black Dragon. Aswell as the Lin Kuei

Yeah, I'd like to see him return and I think we'll see him return because of his storyline in MK: DA. They need to work on Long Fist and Wing Chun though. Maybe if Sektor were to also be in this game, he and his clan, the Tekunin could team up with Mavado and the Red Dragon to try to destroy the Lin Kuei as well as the Special Forces.

I hope they improve him alot.. his look was good but not all that well digitized.. I would love it if his jacked could move freely in the wind or when he's hit orso.. and he's got some good special moves...

Yeah they really do need to work on his fighting stance. He was very limited I felt. the Hookswords are what kept him good.

Yeah I can picture those two wanting to duke it out. The only question is, will Kabal find Mavado alone, or with the special forces?

Oh i loved his special moves. Most people thought they were stuipd, till they couldn't catch me. I really hope you could also move counter clock wise as well with the ropes.

Mavado was pretty cool, actually, he was one of the best *new* characters around. I just hope he doesnt have the hookswords, it belongs to KABAL!

They might actually be Kabals, they could of had some kind of encounter that we dont know about. we will have to see, thats what I reakon though..

I think his fighting styles and weapon were cool, but that was it; not many special moves/fatality sucked. Think he was a last-minute decision character.

I for one think it would be a waste of an extra space for mavado to take up Hsu Hao should be in charge of the red dragons.

thats an idea Hsu Hao can over rule, how bout that?

That's true. Long Fist should be more of a speed and offensive style that uses the concept of "effortlessness" (if that's even a word). It should have moves like vertical punches and hammerfists. Long Fist should also have some aspects from the several northern Kung Fu styles that it is composed of such as Shaolin Fist, Tong Bei Quan, and Pi Gua Zhang.

Wing Chun should be tricky and deceptive with its hand movements and stuff. There should even be a bit of choking moves.

I think Mavado is the best of MKDA's newbies, and has the most interesting storyline. Bring him back definetely. Hookswords and long fist rule, though I'll admit he needs more moves with the grappling hook things. He's a character I'd like to see stay in MK for a good while yet.

Hsu Hao should not be in charge of the Red Dragon. He's Mavado's right hand, and unless Mavado has already died, Hsu Hao has no chance to become leader. Besides, Hsu Hao was probably killed by Jax.

He should definetly return, he's one of the new characters that's bound to stay. If only because of his story link with the Link Kuei, the Special Forces and the Black Dragon.

By the way, sombody posted here that Mavado's hookswords might be Kabals. I think they are, I'm not sure but I think it's said at a certain point in Mavado's konquest. Kabal might want them back now though :P

At first I didn't care about any of the Red Dragon members, now I've warmed up to both and personally would like to see both in Deception. But if I had to choose one, Mavado so he can start a clan war with the Lin Kuei and Tekunin, and a personal war with Kabal.

People who say Mavado sucked in DA obviously don't know how to play him.... Hookswords 3 all the way. Also Long Fist is better than some people may think, and his throw rocked.

I agree that his special moves were a bit poor.

However, although it might be a bit lame, they could have the same type of weapons, e.g. Kabal and Mavado could both have different types of hookswords (a bit like Kano's and Hsu Hao's weapons).

Well I am glad someone else here doesn't underesitmate Mavado. But Mavado I wouldn't be surprised if he knew more than the 3 standard styles he use, since he taught the styles Hsu Hao uses.

One of my friends thought was pissed off with Mavado's hookswords, because he mentioned(I don't know if this is true, he is notroious for talking out of his ass) that the hookswords are ment to disarm the opponents weapons.

I don't believe that Hsu Hao is more capiable that Mavado, considering that Mavado taught Hsu Hao the styles he knows(It even states it in comquest).

But Leadership requires more than just power, but good decision making as well. Mavado I view the second most craftiest person in the game next to Quan Chi, just because of how Mavado used the special forces.

Mavado was one of my favorites out of the new characters to mortal kombat.. i would love him to return in 6 and start a clan war with the Lin Kuei....
